Yes he’s skinny but when you have this sort of height, length and athleticism you can make up for it. He s not ready for a Hawkins or Lynch but he could handle Hipwood. Playing seniors will be easier in some respects as the direction on field will be greater than in VFL and you’ll have guys like Ridley and Francis helping in the air.

For the first time in years we have drafted kids with very significant physical advantages. Perkins, Cox and Reid are thoroughbreds not Clydesdales, the less time they spend in the VFL the better in my opinion.
