Fair point....herald sun reporting it though. Probably could have worded the post a bit better. Too many cans has a negative impact on structuring sentences correctly

Haha fair enough. :thumbsu:

Coming home earlier than first planned might be the best thing for the situation, though. Especially if there is some tension between the suspended and the ones doing the suspending.

Anyone here.

If your boss told you to send a text on 3 ways you can improve by saturday, who wouldn't do it?

It's not like they wanted an essay.
My boss wouldn't do that because its unprofessional. We'd have a meeting or at a pinch lay our thoughts in an email so it's easily filed and documented.

Via text message?

Yeah that's lulzy.

Still amazed that the players couldn't be bothered to send a token text.

Or even just talk to Arthur on Saturday. They are in the same hotel.

My boss wouldn't ask for that kind of thing over text, nor would I expect any professional bosses to do so.
But if he did, would you just forget?

A formal presentation over something documented in a text message. Ridiculous.

I'm betting they really didn't think it applied to them.

I'll bet Johnson never has to give a formal presentation, it's all done via text. Who the hell would want to listen to him, umming and ahhing while his two brain cells play chasey inside that head of his?

I often say I like politics, but it's actually not true. What I like is elections, systems of government.

What I don't like is this kind of information - actual politics, based around the powers that be and the factions in whatever.
Certainly, you don't have to like it or be liked to be a good leader, but Ted Ballieu and Kevin Rudd will attest that it certainly helps.

It would appear to me that Michael and Mickey are putting the line in the sand, whether it helps or hinders things remains to be seen.

Obviously not underdog.........the issue isn't what was asked of them, the issue is the lack of discipline to follow through with what was asked of them.
How about some good old fashioned application, a do as your told attitude, and appreciation of the privileged position they are in.
I'm tired of this whole "snub your nose at authority, I know best" mentality.
As an employee, if you're asked to do something.......just do it

1. Cowan

I think it's been obvious that Watto hasn't been happy with the ways things are going for quite a while now.

yeah
In the Hussey-Clarke thing Watto sided with Hussey.

The same Hughes who has made 10 runs in 2 Tests and can't play spin to save himself.

Guess it pays off being a buddy of the skipper...

The same Hughes who has done everything, and more, that was asked of him after he was dropped to protect Johnson - and did it all without a hint of petulance or complaint?

The same Hughes who CA wouldn't allow time to spend with his Coach in an effort to help him come to grips with the conditions in the most hostile and unusual away series we play?

And as the VC he should have been one of the first to do it. No matter how mundane the task being set might appear to be, it was requested by the coach and as such the members of the leadership group should, you know, lead by example.

The fact that the team's VC apparently didn't get around to it is an indictment. Watson, especially given his role within the team is culpable here.
This!!!!!!!!...........says it perfectly

yeah
In the Hussey-Clarke thing Watto sided with Hussey.

Yet according to all media outlets and the CA Press release and the puff piece with Huss and Crash Craddock it never happened;)

It's not going to have a significant impact on the side is it?

Ussie and MJ weren't in the side anyway and not many would have had them coming in. Watson wasn't performing with the bat.

Pattinson is the only significant loss.

Smith in for Watson and Starc in for Pattinson. With Haddin to replace Wade if needed.
