Other than kicking goals, he's an absolute liability out there once there's finals intensity.

Poster boy of our last 20 years.

On a side note thought he handled that pies supporter pretty well. Something like: guess what mate, I’m over here kicking freakin awesome goals on Anzac Day and you’re just acting like a turd on the other side of the fence. 🤣

Just play him in the forward line. He looks like he has the best forward craft of anyone else in our forward line. Which is a bit of a worry in itself, but keep him there. Thanks.

This guy is a gun, I don’t know why you haven’t played him forward his whole career.

(plz play him down back on Sunday tho)

Apart from a few brainwashed holdouts, nobody does.

We just like playing guys outside their best positions.

He’s a natural forward and always has been. Has forward craft, goal sense, great hands and a great kick.

He’s multiple times more valuable as a forward than anywhere else.

Maybe because Krispy was already making rude gestures - very unfamily place, the footy, and on TV. Can't charge him with bringing the game into disrepute, but they could speak with Langers... but even then, can they charge a player for bringing the game into disrepute on that basis? It wouldn't pass the pub test.

I doubt it’d be anything as serious as that. Code of conduct thing probably. I don’t know if there’s a better version but this is Sydney’s from 2017, which alludes to the code of conduct as part of the cba and afl rules;

There's a lot there about the player's privelege and responsibility, but even then, I think conduct unbecoming is a stretch. Krispy's conduct was unbecoming. Langers' was reasonable IMO, so I agree with the previous judgments of the AFL's lameness.

Would come under something like ‘Treat all officials umps players coaches spectators with respect’

I’d be surprised if it was anything more than a conversation, wouldn’t even be a formal written warning unless they’re in the habit or writing up Daicos for shushing and Stringer for waving and whoever it was that did a war dance and threw a “spear” at the crowd.

Exactly, which is why it's lame that he was even called in.
I'd be interested to know where the AFL sees its own duty of care to protect a players' wellbeing starts. This bloke was personally abusive to Langers without abusing him, but did enough to humiliate, but Langford can't do anything in response to maintain his own dignity? They might have said kicking the goal was enough, and it probably was, but Kris was also a jerk. At some point the AFL has to be responsible for regulating and managing crowd behaviour. I don't think Kris' behaviour deserved him being ejected, but I'm interested to know where it begins to be seen as anti-social and ejection-worthy. Vilification I'm guessing.
