He's a beautiful kick of the ball, don't think it will be a problem, would have been great if the first goal snuck in for him.OK start, if he took his opportunities he would be going to Perth, kicking really let him down.

Lloydy on Langer.
“Believe it or not he’s one of the best kicks for goal in the sessions that I do,” he said.
Lloyd hopes Langford can develop into a Jack Gunston type of player over the next few seasons.

Hm, assuming a similar set up I'd say the forward match-ups would be:
Johnson-Daniher
McPharlin-Carlisle
Ibbotson-Ambrose
Duffield-Langford
I really think's a bloody shame he hit the post with his first shot. Almost would have preferred him kick it out on the full
No need to be like that mate.
Point I was making is that it would have been less frustrating and possibly easier for him to move on from
A pretty ridiculous thing to sayNo need to be like that mate.

Harsh and ignorant.
Missed two shots, it happens to everyone, who gives a shit.
Got caught holding the ball by a ripping tackle. It was the tackle that deserved HTB and not him being unaware or the like. He took a shot because he was about to be tackled by two Saints from memory and there was absolutely no one in front of him or near him, I mean FFS, what do you want from him with that?
But to completely ignore things such as how he managed to produce those scoring shots in the first place by his good movement and timing of leads (forwards who move, who the **** would've thought they exist?), his poise in traffic and his nous of reading the play is just plain and simply being ignorant of the foundations of a classy player.
To say he was worst on ground is an absolute ******* laugh. Especially when you have a KPF whose contribution for the day was three handballs and three free kicks against in three quarters.
I'd much rather a debutant show they can get them self in the position to have shots and affect the game than a debutant who runs around like a headless chook and manages to kick a goal or two.
It probably just speaks volumes about how irrational I am. (Kyle probably isn't).Hang on.
If you hit the post it means you're a whisker away from slotting a goal. Yes, you've still stuffed up. But you almost got it right.
Out on the full, on the other hand? You've shanked the kick horribly. In terms of what has potential to do more damage to your confidence, the latter is infinitely worse.
Besides, we won the game by two points. I don't think Kyle will be losing too much sleep that one of his set shots was a poster rather than floating out on the full, just quietly.![]()
It is damned frustrating. It probably just speaks volumes about how irrational I am. (Kyle probably isn't).
HOW MUCH DOES IT SUCK HITTING THE POST THOUGH?
subtlety not your strong pointA pretty ridiculous thing to say
Im in the corner of dont take Langford west dont think he can cope with the fremantle pressure and will be found wanting. Also didnt think his saints game was that good albeit id like to watch it properly again.
Im glad to see Hirdy say that they are looking to develop him into a similar type to Jack Gunston i think thats exactly what we need. I also think he could have some Mackie off a halfback flank as a string to his bow.
True.It is damned frustrating.
Kick it out of bounds on the full and you just want the ground to open and swallow you whole, however!
You would never make it being mentally weak like this, there's days when you feel like you are on and everything is going your way, its the days when they're not that you need to put the rubbish out of your head and keep going.Probably to the point whereby if I hit the post in my first ever AFL kick (if it was) it would haunt me and effect my performance.

You forgot the best one Travis Cloke.Lol you make it sound so simple. I could quote a huge number of footballers that have clearly had their performance affected from missing set shots. Fyfe, Casboult, Cloke, Buddy, Hawkins, Lindsay Thomas are all guilty of this and came to mind within 15 seconds. Players get the yips all the time.
He's 3rd named? You forgot the best one Travis Cloke.
I wouldn't have Buddy on that list, he backs himself everyday of the week.
