My favourite thing about this thread is that there is a 99.9% chance that no one internally at the club is reading or listening to the debate over where he is best suited to play and you're all just mincing words with one another haha. Y'all gotta chill!

Not really. The "Langford must always play as a forward" crew never want to acknowledge the fact that he's good playing up the ground as well. FMD, there were people in here who said his 4th placed finish in the BnF was off the back of his two games playing the majority of time as a forward rather than a wing.

I'm firmly in the "Langford is a forward" camp but that doesn't mean he should stand in the goal square. I think he needs to stay in the forward half of ground which would enable him to lead out to the wing and I would play him on the forward side of any ruck contest so the mids know there is a target.

There would be people at the club reading these forums just as some AFL media people read it.

The club wouldn't be relying on these forums for tips but they like to know a bit about what their supporter base is thinking.

I don’t think that extends to match committee but as a temp check here, blitz, Twitter, Facebook are all probably accessed by someone at the club in a non-professional capacity.

There's apps that track sentiment, collate mentions on social media and stuff like that

So people are just conversing on a forum for no reason other than to converse?

Duh.

I mean, I feel like we're all largely just here to give our thoughts/interpretations on certain things to do with the team. Was merely suggesting that some of the folks on here waffle on/argue behind a keyboard. Converse, heck I do but the fighting is just cringey sometimes over things.

Very interesting game, in that he managed to use his strength to curb Cunnington's impact at the centre bounce a few times.

Nice work.

the line (+/-) for Kyle's disposal average this year is 2.

He averages 19.9 (20) disposals per game and has been +/- 2 of that in 7/10 games this year. One of those 3 exceeding it (27 v Brisbane in round 5) whilst the other two were 17 (round 2 v Power) and 13 (round 9 v Dockers).

Safe to say he has found his niche at the level in the last 18 months.
