So what happens if he wins the Republican nomination, then its ruled ineligible or ends up doing time. How do the Republicans determine who will represent them at the election? Can they do an in house vote? Have to run another quick fire primary election, all on the one day? Hand ball it to the person who gets the second most votes in the current primary? Not sure if there is any precedent for something like this.

Thats the risk of allowing someone with 91 legal charges pending to run for a political position .

None of the above imo.

Criminal conviction doesn't prevent someone from being prez ('Murica!), whatever the outcome of the legals Trump is going to remain the nominee. Not that he'll end up in jail, but even if he somehow did he'd just continue running from there, he and the GOP are legit that far gone.

Probably all a moot point anyway, looking increasingly likely that Trump's legal strategy of just delay delay delay until he's POTUS again is going to work. The classified docs one with judge Eileen 'Loose' Cannon basically running interference for him is 100% not going to happen in time, fair chance we might not see a trial in any of the cases before November.

I read somewhere if any of his cases don't go to trial before August and he's running for prez they won't happen until after the election. Apparently it's unwritten but they won't take a presidential candidate to court within 3 months of an election

Explains why the mobster is in constant delay mode but unpresidented times call for unpresidented responses. We shall see.

Yeah I heard the same.

So much for "Biden's DoJ" eh? If he really was controlling and directing the cases he's doing a piss poor job of it lol

I seriously doubt if she could read English, and there's a reason why Fat Donny doesn't want his college results in the public domain.
Think she understands pre-nup contracts pretty well.

Don't forget how she got her citizenship.

Melania Trump obtained US citizenship on a visa reserved for immigrants with "extraordinary ability" and "sustained national and international acclaim", according to a report in the Washington Post.

Nicknamed the "Einstein Visa", the EB-1 is in theory reserved for people who are highly acclaimed in their field - the government cites Pulitzer, Oscar, and Olympic winners as examples - as well as respected academic researchers and multinational executives.
Mrs Trump began applying for the visa in 2000, when she was Melania Knauss, a Slovenian model working in New York and dating Donald Trump. She was approved in 2001, one of just five people from Slovenia to win the coveted visa that year, according to the Post.

Becoming a citizen in 2006 gave her the right to sponsor her parents, Viktor and Amalija Knavs, who are now in the US and in the process of applying for citizenship.

So what field is she "highly acclaimed" in? ;)
I suppose we will see her "extraordinary ability" when she divorces Fat Donny

Chain migration? You know what Donny is against.
