Actually thought he was really important in that last quarter.

How so? Genuinely asking.

I personally thought he offered nothing.

Was involved in several scoring chains with speed and clean skills.

Only had 1 score involvement.

In 1.5 quarters of footy he touched the ball 4 times. He had two turnovers from those 4 touches. 3 uncontested possessions, 1 score involvement, 0 marks, 0 tackles, 0 1%ers.

I don't think he made any sort of difference today, but I'll rewatch the 4th quarter in a day or so and come back if I change my mind on a re-watch.

Honestly mate I don't really care

Yeah I don't understand how he was given a game ahead of Cooper? VFL form was hardly worthy of a recall and did very little today, tell me he wasn't put in because he is a WA boy? That would be ****ing embarrassing if that's the way the match committee went, but by now I would hardly be surprised. Needs to be out for next week.

100% the reason.
Fisher, Logue, Hansen all in for the feel goods in WA

Yeah coughed up that one in the backline but was good in most other contests.
In his defence, that one he coughed up involved a missed free for a high tackle about 2-3 seconds beforehand. He'd gained possession of the ball, tackled high (missed by the ump), then the Eagles scored from the turnover.

Yeah pardon the tin foil hat I've just chucked on, but surely the AFL didn't say make sure you're well represented while you're there? 🤔

All 3 were pretty ****ing horrible really. Id be happy to see them all omitted next week

Doesn't get much positive attention here, but, last Q, 10 minutes on the clock, although it took Logue about 2-3 seconds too long to get it to him in the center, the vision, decision making, and execution of the kick inside 50 to Sheez, which became a goal to Zurhaar, was easily the best of the day.

I was second guessing myself as to whether he miskicked that .. it sort of floated to Sheez.

Definitely hit the intended target, but it did float a bit too. Caught WC unawares as Sheezel had 20m of free space at chf.

Contrarian opinion. I think Hansen Jnr is showing great signs and has beautiful disposal into our forward 50. He is very small and of slight build hence he gets pushed around and outmuscled on the inside however if he can get on the outside and be the one delivering to our forwards he can be very damaging. His trajectory since being drafted has been excellent. I can see why the club has given him another 12 months.

I tend to agree. He had visible flaws, most obviously hardness at the contest, but he has that one touch ability that stands out in our meat and potato’s line up. We have to see if we can develop him as he offers something not otherwise evident on our list aside from perhaps (in larger form) Duursma.

Personally, I don't think that's contrarian, and indeed, I'd say the consensus is that the boy is a beautiful user, but not great in the contest. The doubters emphasise the latter, the optimists the former - the common ground is that the contest aspect will need to improve
