“There seemingly are two Americas: the better vaccinated states and those states less well-vaccinated,” added Dr. William Schaffner, an infectious disease expert from Vanderbilt University in Tennessee.
Schaffner also sees this trend continuing into the near future.
“COVID cases are anticipated to continue to increase due to the extraordinarily contagious delta variant,” he said. “It is likely that the states which have the lowest vaccination rates will be disproportionately affected and localized outbreaks will occur.”

It's actually very good news for Australia. All these states with differing rates of vaccination are running real-life tests on what the impact is of opening with varying levels of vaccination.
The UK and a bunch of other countries are good examples too.
Unfortunately it seems they're mostly what not to do. Seems they've all opened a bit early.
Deaths are down, so I suppose it's going to be a decision about how many deaths will be "acceptable". A very tough call.

A whole bunch of buck passing among the Democratic leadership about who's responsible to extend the moratorium on evictions, as millions are now at risk of being pushed out onto the street.
With Biden insisting that he doesn't have the power that Pelosi and the House Democrats say they do, any failure to get anything done on this sits with the Democrats.
Thankfully for those who have replaced political ideology with vaccine wackiness, the New Orleans Police Department are making sure all their deputy constables are fully vaccinated before they get knee deep into their heavy eviction workload.

Hasn't boasted about love letters from dictators, no count of his golfing days, hasn't told Greta to watch a movie, called a woman out for bloody cosmetic surgery, name called celebrities that don't agree with him etc.
