In my view pulling out of a contest that you're actually on track to clearly win is a far worse sin than pulling out of a 50-50
The point is players do it occasionally, even the toughest.

Like i said i dont think he is a sqib.

I also reckon his capacity to defend is extremely poor.
Happy to point out his shortcoming in a role that frankly i dont think he should be playing. But thats a lot different to labeling him a squib

Remember we had sleevo on our list for years and he was squibbing all the time, probably the only games he didnt squib is when he ran so wide there were no players to squib....

Disagree. I've never seen X do it. Never seen Zurhaar do it either. He tends to throw in the towel once the opposition actually have the ball.

Anyhoo, even if a nuke is dropped on us tomorrow, Caleb Daniel's name will still be on the team sheet for the remainder of the year, so it's academic

Seems you are still missing the point, feel free to keep doubling down on stupidity.
So you are celebrating:

one contest for his 17 kicks, the intercept mark. The others were 3 kick-ins, 7 handball receives and 7 marks from short kicks often backward or sideways.
He had 4 crapy kick-ins to the pocket, 3 sideways kicks, 2 backward kicks, 1 turnover kick to space and 1 fluffed inside F50 kick. Of the 17 kicks only 6 kicks went forward to a teammate. Of which only 2 resulted in a quick play-on. Only 5 of the 17 kicks made it into our forward half.

Still missing the point. I have celebrated the win, not Daniel's game.

As for speedy's summary of his kicks it's clearly quite a negatively biased account of his performance. Even just looking at the 2nd kick on the summary described as "15:45 receives backward kick in D50, 25m sideways kick to teammate" is clearly not accurate as it was a switch kick over 25m which Stephens immediately played on from.

Daniel played his role, he was apart of a defence that did a much better job of maintaining possession. Then as a positive specifically to Daniel he played a lot more within himself and we didn't see him running himself into trouble trying to do too much.
