We are 2 defenders down when we play daniels as a distributor and chom as an interceptor. And thats hardly viable when you also field corr and lmac.

And it seems we are stuck with him as no one wants to admit it was a trade blunder of epic proportions

Never seen a soft rule change cripple a single player so badly lol

That rule didn't seem to impact Collingwood so much.

At least a couple of sub 10m marks were paid to them and on one occasion, in their forward pocket after a very short kick, the Collingwood player set up as if he'd marked, the umpire was silent and the north players were asking if he'd paid the mark or not - they didn't dare attempt to tackle in case he had paid it. The ump then called play on but the Collingwood player was clear and easily hit a teammate for the shot on goal.

I am pretty certain that some of the not 15 calls that went against North were wrong.

Last years trade using pick 25 to recruit Daniel along with trading our future first which at the time thought would be a top 4 pick will be looked back 2 of the most moronic trades made ever. They are the modern equivalent of trading Butch Gale, Broderick and Dundas for a washed up Jeff Hogg. :stern look

I must be the only one who thought he played well for most of the game. Had a shithouse effort on Crisp at half-back late in the third, but up to that point, was doing exactly the role we asked of him and giving us consistent precision out of the defensve 50. Seemed obvious to me at the time that we were breaking down with the long bombs inside 50, not the distribution from half-back.

Been thinking of exactly this. It's why I've not gone in 'Boots Up' in Brady's thread.

I think it's quite plausible. On face value it shouldn't be a horrible Trade, yet here we are.
