The blokes at the Incel convention looking a little more attractive compared to 5 weeks ago mate?

Ho ho ho.

I looked at your post history to find the reasoned defences of Caleb while he was under siege. Couldn't find anyway?

And unfortunately tripped across your entire web search history instead. Eek.

Maybe change your user name to King Epstein bro.

Nice comeback. So hilarious.

Couldn't just admit CD is having a good season?

His last 3 weeks have gone up a level.

Yeh miss that one?

I have no problem being bumped by anyone who puts their own opinions out at risk of ridicule.

You just sit back and snipe. That's my issue.

Caleb is having a good season. On that we agree.

I don't read every word on here. A blind person could see Caleb is having a good season even though some people aren't even giving him an honourable mention in the votes for yesterday.

People been giving him shit since he walked in the door. And unfairly imo and have always thought that. Just calling out some of the bs comments people have made writing him off.

So you still want me to have a stance on CD? Want to know where I stood on him last year before I bump ya?

I think King Corey likes Caleb Daniel.

Cheers, happy for you if you get the chocolates.

These guys have been very good this year.
Yep. Pink in the Top 5 and Daniel not...would actually laugh pretty hard!

Enjoy your jumper.

Haha. You'd probably have to have to not been moved positionally in the first few rounds to make the Top 5 of a list chosen by the very same people for the start of the year.

But you never know.

The way i see it i suppose is he happened to finish top 5 by the end of the year with the talent on our team he deserves the chocolates because so far all of our young fellas have shown some very good form along with a couple of the older crew. Lets celebrate our early wins regardless of how we get the 4 points and we may even jag a top 10 finish but as we know its a long season.

For what it's worth, here's how I'm guessing the top 10 will look after the first 4 rounds;
  1. Davies-Uniacke
  2. Parker
  3. Sheezel
  4. CALEB DANIEL
  5. Stephens
  6. Xerri
  7. Pink
  8. Larkey
  9. O'Sullivan
  10. Trembath
It can be hard to predict - for example last year the coaches votes and the Syd Barker votes did not neatly align at all - but we saw last year that Caleb Daniel finished 6th overall on the final Syd Barker leaderboard, despite basically never getting coaches votes. Meaning we know he's a vote-getter in the Syd Barker. And he's playing better this year.

For context for anyone who still isn't sure if Caleb Daniel is doing well or not;

For 2026 through 4 games, Caleb Daniel for North Melbourne sits;

4th for disposals
=3rd for marks
=3rd for tackles
1st for rebound 50s
1st for effective kicks
4th for effective disposals
=3rd for tackles inside 50
6th for spoils (which is hilarious)
4th for contested defensive one-on-ones
7th for score involvements (impressive when you consider how much time he plays in the defensive half)
4th for score launches
5th for intercept possessions
=2nd best for fewest frees against
5th for 1 percenters

Here's the top 10 from the BF votes after the * games, round three.

8 - Luke Davies-Uniacke.
7 - Luke Parker.
7 - Harry Sheezel.
5 - Finn O'Sullivan.
5 - Dylan Stephens.
5 - Tristan Xerri.
4 - Nick Larkey.
2 - Toby Pink.
1 - Charlie Comben.
1 - Caleb Daniel.

He will get votes this week. How many? Who knows but I doubt he'll make the top five on the leaderboard by the end.

But ... he'll be thereabouts. FWthatsW there is often a reasonably accurate correlation between our votes and the Syd in the top five to ten. Its not always close but often is.

Point being there is a chance he's top five now but there's been alot of players (more than five) who have had strong starts to the season.

Which can only be good for us!

I've called Wildcard Weekend v Pies for months.

Can feel it in my loins.

What a weird unexpected improvement. Id love to know why. He looks zippier. Maybe injured last year.

Also, him halving that marking contest at full back. Beautiful.

I think clubs often expect too much in the first season of players who move after several seasons in another club's system. It nearly always takes time to fit into a new environment, get to know your teammates and coaches, how the team plays and understand the role that the new team wants them to play.

Look at Dan Houston at the Pies. He was way below par last year and it is highly likely that a lot of Pie fans would have wondered why they got him. Its a different story this year with Houston.
