Stepped up and is having a ripper year.
By far our most consistent 4-quarter performer.

If his form continues, I can see a podium B&F finish.

He would have to be leading as of now, surely.

Ross's average player rating from his last 6 games is above 16. That is fringe top 15 players in the AFL level.

He seems to have total confidence in his body, his ball use, and his ability to run out games. Something like Richmond's version of Touk Miller is how Ross is playing now, and also how he is shaping in terms of his role in the list build.

See if he sustains the level but if he gets anywhere near this longer term we have come up with a cornerstone mid for the next 6 years or so.

Of the other senior players (and maybe this is a little unfair) I think only Vlastuin is playing with similar drive
I think Miller is too.

I think Miller is too.
I think at times Miller is using the excuse of his role to just stick with his man and not roll off to try an impact some contests for fear of getting burnt

It’s understandable and I’m not potting him for it but a successful team wouldn’t be doing that

It's understandable the way the ball keeps getting pumped in there. I wouldn't mind him with the ball in his hands more as he is as good a kick as anyone in our backline.

Another really solid game. You can actually see he's starting to feel like a good player too.

It going to be an interesting few years because from the few fit players we have left, several of them are finding surprisingly high levels.

Chief amongst those is Jack Ross. But Campbell, Retschko, Green, Miller and probably even Balta are starting to string some genuinely good performances together.

None of those are first round draft picks, and we have plenty of those to come back into the team.

But Ross, what a season he is putting together. Where he lacks a single outstanding feature in his game he now just seems to be a really good all round player.
