Can anyone tell me who played on Farmer? Heard he kicked 0.2.

He always does well against us and trying to select a team for round 1, it's very tough for us to find a suitable match up for him.

There was nothing noticeably wrong with him when he came out in polo and thongs after half time so I'd say it's only minor

Our ruckmen killed yours and with Bell/Carr/Hasleby missing you needed to win most of them. White held Pav well in the second half and that was the final nail. Mark Johnson and Schammer easily your best

Can't say I noticed Palmer or Gilmore at all. Your starting defence was Tredrea-Grover, Westhoff-Johnson, Motlop-Dodd, Ebert-Head (I thought it was Thornton but since he wasn't in the squad I guess it was Head as someone said earlier).

This may be related..as this game is being played in extreme heat and in Ade...

..At quarter time in Ade. Saints vs. Crows the score was 10 to 4 and at half time 26 to 21.....A low scoring, error kicking game....With the Heat being a factor...

Some people on here take the results of pre-season far to seriously, im sure they realised today meant f-all and in extreme heat maybe decided to take it easy and use heavy rotations after half time. Too be honest this result hasnt had any impact on the way I feel about this year, we are a top 4 side.

How did Palmer and Gilmore go?

I actually really liked Palmer. It's the first time he's popped onto my radar so I'm puzzled he's not getting more +ve reviews here. Not unlike Schammer in intensity. However I didn't notice him much in the second half.

Seriously people, it's one bad game that was played at a suburban ground in the pre season. It counts for jack shit. If you're already jumping off the wagon then it's obvious you didn't cope well with 1995-2002. Harden the f*ck up and pull your heads in, it's been a lot worse in the past and it probably will be again some time in the future. Just sit back and enjoy the rollercoaster ride. Win, lose or draw, I know I will and I'll enjoy every second of it.

Where abouts did Schammer play the majority of the game? IMO he's a midfielder and doesn't have the versatility to play elsewhere (HB/HF), but keeps getting played there.

This might be because he's viewed as best 22 material, but not good enough to be apart of the midfield rotation, so he's just squeezed into the side on a flank/pocket. I'm hoping that with Hase out, that'll give him a decent chance to get some genuine time through the middle to show what he can do.

Nick Lower played on Farmer most of the game
