“Kodi is a great addition to our AFLW program. She’s tough around contests and known for her excellent work rate and defensive pressure,” Harvey said.

“Kodi can play at either end of the ground, while also having the ability to rotate through the midfield. At only 22 years old, she’s still young with a lot of potential and we look forward to watching her development continue at the Bombers.”

Midfielder... Zanchetta replacement?

Couple of the AFLW girls seem very pleased about this acquisition, Maddy P and Lily-Rose Williamson both put it on their Instagram story and we got this from Woosh too;

(Unlike the boys we don’t usually get floods of club news being shared to all the AFLW players’ insta stories, so I guess it’s a bit more meaningful as a result).

Club debut tonight 😁

Recruits Georgia Clarke, Brooke Brown, Brooke Walker and Kodi Jacques will all don the sash for the first time, while former VFLW Premiership Captain Georgia Nanscawen will make her first appearance for the club at AFLW level.

Jacques will start on the interchange for the Bombers, but her previous AFLW experience combined with her versatility will make her an important addition.

Known for her output across all areas of the ground, the inaugural Tiger has 26 games of AFLW experience that will benefit the Bombers’ lineup.
