Shane Mumford took time out of his busy schedule of assaulting players to take the photos of him proposing apparently
yeah, i thought they looked like cheap photo shots.

Ahead of schedule, starting in the alter-G this week
Another piece of positive news is the advancement in star midfielder Dylan Shiel’s rehabilitation.

The 28-year-old will begin running in an anti-gravity machine following a quicker-than-expected improvement in the recovery of his knee injury.

“‘Dyl’ saw the surgeon ahead of schedule which is nice,” Murphy said.

“He’s doing all of his strength work and he’s got that up to a really good level.

“The plan this week will be to get him on our Alter-G, which is our anti-gravity machine which lifts a bit of body weight off the knee joint and allows you to run on a different percentage of your body weight.

“He’ll start on that this week and be there for a little bit which is really pleasing for Dyl.”

This man's professionalism is bar none, with possibly Merrett's as a close 2nd.

He'll bounce back harder from injury than anyone else on our list. His professionalism presence is paramount to being a pillar in keeping Merrett on board I think.

One of his semi-regular chats with RSN. Interesting.

Cliffs;
  • Rutten seems to be a natural.
  • Merrett has the right to be a free agent and make his own decision.
  • They play cricket in the change rooms. Nik Cox can't get him out. Merrett is good at cricket. Hind also plays. McGrath holds it like a hockey stick. They tape the ball and the pitch is shorter... the guys who hate cricket also happen to be the ones in the line of sight of the batter.
  • Shiel also played basketball and did athletics and lawn bowls(?) as a junior. But no one ever talks about him as having a basketball background, unlike Pendles.
  • Parish has played well. Best midfields have lots of players rotating.
  • Food and nutrition chat. Maintenance is 1800-2000cal, sometimes eats up to 3500 due to training. Doing boxing and some other stuff to burn off the energy while he can't run.
  • Now takes a latte with 1 as his coffee order (not bulletproof!). Heppell is the one that goes for the soy milk...

Hmmm, Dyl always strikes me as a spro kinda guy...

Please tell me he was joking about Heppell too
It comes off like one of those jokes where it's probably actually true... but in an unbelievable kind of way where if you laugh while you say it everyone will think you're joking.

You should just listen to it, Shiel and those RSN guys make for a pretty good interview :)
