Great to see Swifty back today and didn't look out of place. 23 touches and not as over-awed as he has been in the past. Had Hartlett and probably beat him. A few mistakes but very encouraging.

Did kick a beauty on his left to Scooter in that last quarter, perfectly weighted. Only remember him ****ing up once on his left, and once on his right.

7/10 or 7.5/10 is pretty fair though.

Loved having Swift back. So much more impact on the game than Masten. Swifty actually hunts the ball whereas Masten just follows.

I reckon he'll be a confidence player, which normally means he will struggle to force himself into the top bunch of our mids. If he strings together a few gooduns and holds his place in the team I reckon he'll be a comfortable contributor. Has a dud and gets dropped and it'll take a while for him to ge back to speed.

probably symptomatic of the cousins/kerr/judd legacy... some of us expect every mid we draft to be a gun right off the bat.

swift will be a VERY good player, and he was one of our best today.

I thought he played well. Some really clever kicks. I like him way better than Masten.

Thought he was pretty good all in all. The weighted kick over the top to Scooter was great and he put his head over the ball all day.

Some good attacking handballs. A couple iffy kicks into the centre of the ground. Much better game from him.

think he turned one over kicking inboard (as he often does) early in the game.

but a lot of his turnovers are more due to over-ambition than lack of skill (unlike MANY other players on our list)

Very composed under pressure, and made good decisions by hand. Signs of improvement, and a few certainly worthy of another go next week.

Yes but they were both on his left, and were direct turnovers to the opposition. Almost as bad as Schofield's!

Maybe it's just the decisions he makes when he kicks with his left that are the problem.

As good a midfielder as we had today and definitely has the potential to lock in a spot in our starting mids. Class written all over him, always has more time then it seems and his decision making was superior. Only really the one turn over but it was always going to happen, once his efficiency improves he'll go close to being our best midfielder.

Was a solid contributor, but still contributed some silly turnovers.

Loved how posters on here reckon he's EXPLOSIVE.

He had a chance to run in at goal and got caught

But will be in the 22 next week. Just hope it doesn't cost us.
