Probably because they don't equate animal life with human life.
That's cool. But when does human life begin? At conception?

Probably, I'm not a scientist. But many respected scientists seem to think it begins at conception.
But who knows on the other hand you got people who don't believe that. It all comes to to subjective BS from everyone.
So one minute you defend my detractors, the next minute you call their opinions 'subjective BS'.
It is this lack of coherence that leaves proponents on many 'sides' of this debate looking rather foolish IMO.

I most certainly support it if there is some medical reason, either with the parent or baby. Just because you didn't want the baby though? Not so sure there.
All i have to say is when it comes to abortion is that what if it was one of the baby's which have been killed was the person who would grow to cure cancer?

My reply would be to ask one of those aborted foetuses. Get back to us when you obtain an answer. A sound recording will do (preferably in English).
And what if they grow up to be a serial killer?
It is highly unlikely that an unwanted child is going to grow up to be a acclaimed scientist, statistically they are more likely to grow up to be violent criminals.

Hey, what if sperm #30472 in my next load would grow up to sole ALL the world's problems?
It could happen, therefore it is the duty of all women to be impregnated by my sperm just to make sure that person doesn't get wasted.
All i did was offer a different way of thinking about it. Not trying to convince or debate what is right or what is wrong and you lot jump on your high horse and feel the need to dismiss it completely. If you dont agree with me that is fair enough, but it is possible that it could happen despite 'statistics'.
I'd be fascinated to see any statistics that support an aborted fetus conducting biochemistry.
As would I. Although i don't see how that is relevant.

I see your point but I would choose a more practical choice than looking for human potential in something that is never really born.
What about the untouchable castes of India, or the impoverished in Africa? Surely there is more potential there than in something that was never born?
In today world we are kinder to our animals than we are to people. And that's a fact.
