That's cool. But when does human life begin? At conception?

Probably, I'm not a scientist. But many respected scientists seem to think it begins at conception.

But who knows on the other hand you got people who don't believe that. It all comes to to subjective BS from everyone.

So one minute you defend my detractors, the next minute you call their opinions 'subjective BS'.

It is this lack of coherence that leaves proponents on many 'sides' of this debate looking rather foolish IMO.

No, I mean certain people who are for it twist and turn it by saying such things. Then no one remembers what it's all about and by the time we do certain indivuduals have done their damage. They drag this BS out t ocloud their real agendas and its boring.

Ugh, disgusting.

It's almost as if she is trying to look like an idiot. Like a real life troll.

She is fantastic for the democrats if you know what I mean.

I most certainly support it if there is some medical reason, either with the parent or baby. Just because you didn't want the baby though? Not so sure there.

the fundamental question is what is a human being?
the next question is, when is right to terminate a human being?
also, who decides that? the indiviual or the community?

in our society, we have laws regarding taking a human beings life and that is decided by the community not the indiviual.

so, the fundamental question of what is a human being is the most important? is it the ability to think or reason? is it the ability to communicate using language? what is the criteria for determining that?

the argument that unwanted humans, being a burden on society gives the right to terminate a human being to extended to the elderly, the sick, drug addict, the disabled or any other person that is a burden?

I just love how A young man can be irresponsible and is then told to grow up, give up his life, pay for the kid, etc. And a young woman can be as equally irresponsible and just decides to have an abortion and continues on her ****ty ways.

All i have to say is when it comes to abortion is that what if it was one of the baby's which have been killed was the person who would grow to cure cancer?

My reply would be to ask one of those aborted foetuses. Get back to us when you obtain an answer. A sound recording will do (preferably in English).

Hey, what if sperm #30472 in my next load would grow up to sole ALL the world's problems?

It could happen, therefore it is the duty of all women to be impregnated by my sperm just to make sure that person doesn't get wasted.

And what if they grow up to be a serial killer?

It is highly unlikely that an unwanted child is going to grow up to be a acclaimed scientist, statistically they are more likely to grow up to be violent criminals.

All i did was offer a different way of thinking about it. Not trying to convince or debate what is right or what is wrong and you lot jump on your high horse and feel the need to dismiss it completely. If you dont agree with me that is fair enough, but it is possible that it could happen despite 'statistics'.

I'd be fascinated to see any statistics that support an aborted fetus conducting biochemistry.

As would I. Although i don't see how that is relevant.

I see your point but I would choose a more practical choice than looking for human potential in something that is never really born.

What about the untouchable castes of India, or the impoverished in Africa? Surely there is more potential there than in something that was never born?

LOL... And I was just offering you a different way of thinking about it - how is that "getting on my high horse"? At least I had some evidence to support my contention. I guess using evidence is extremely arrogant though, isn´t it!

Yes you are right, their is much more potential. I am just saying that even though it is unlikely, one of those fetus' may grow to achieve something amazing if given the chance.

This has to be the woman's decision as it's here future that will be mucked around with.
If a woman is r*ped she shouldn't have to carry a baby that will forever remind her of what took place.
If there are women out there just having sex and ending up prego all the time and is using it for this reason. I would say no to it then.
But in the end I think if the decision should come down to the women. Why should our feelings good or bad ruin a womans life because we said she has to carry this full term.
In today world we are kinder to our animals than we are to people. And that's a fact.
