One thing that has to stop is WA teams having to go to Tassie. I have no problem with North in particular using that market to grow their supporter base, but the sides that travel the most shouldn't be going down there.

This is the problem though. We don't!Add to that Teams might only play in Perth 1 or 2 times a year whereas Fremantle and WC get multiple games at the MCG or Marvel every year for the sake of ground familiarity.
West Coast also have one of the better crowd advantages (more power than Freo) but that is a credit to the fans.
Because they only play at the ground once or maybe twice a year.
You know, like how you only get to play at the MCG only once or twice a year.
OwenAs opposed to Richmond, who played 14 H&A games at the MCG this season, and are guaranteed to play there if they make the GF?
How did Richmond go interstate this year?

So you agree it is a disadvantage?
Yeah right. We lost 3 games at home this year. Your mob belted us here, surely you remember that?Eagles have the biggest home ground advantage of any team.
Comes back to the almighty dollar again but yeah they should be finding a way for interstate clubs to get a minimum two games a year at the G, 3 would be even better.
Same as grand final for non Vic teamsBecause they only play at the ground once or maybe twice a year.

I don't think that will be on Adam Simpson's list of discussion topics to be honest.Simple solution to even up the fixture and keeping the MCG happy.
- 17 Round Fixture - 8 home, 8 away, 1 neutral (Local derbies the neutral games)
- All teams travel to WA/SA/QLD/NSW once
- Final 8 - 3 rounds of series of 3 knockout (1v8,2v7,3v6,4v5) with higher ranked team hosting games 1 and 3
- Grand Final Game 2 always at MCG. Game 1 & 3 at Highest Ranked home ground if playing against Vic team. If 2 interstate teams, Game 3 (if required) at lower ranked home ground.
Season still 26 weeks like it is now.

Instead we'll just have to be satisfied with the melts on the Fremantle board that followed WC's fourth premiership.Imagine if West Coast had of lost the grand final and he came out with this
The melts would have been delicious
such as the year in which the first game Freo had the MCG, was a semi finalThis is the problem though. We don't!
Probably isn't, OP is a known pot stirrer and I should know better lolCan someone link the Caroline Wilson tweet? I can’t find it. Is the OP source legit or not?
****. So good.I'm sorry your Holy Trinity failed. Try an unholy one next time, it worked for us with Judd, Cousins and Kerr.
Crows, West Coast etc aren't real clubs, they are franchises that lack character.
I do wish we were more like St.Kilda.
We wake up every day jealous of that 100 year history of doing sweet f all.
Plus the aura of 27 wooden spoons.
Thats a real club.

Or how strong the self entitlement is from these two generic clubsInteresting how this thread is dominated by Eagles/Crows supporters.
Gives an insight of just how unfair the AFL system is.

Should be held in the week off before the finals. Are both the AA presentations and Brownlow contractually obligated to be held in Melbourne?
Why not rotate each year?
That is a huge disadvantage for inter-staters.
