Pretty sure Ricciouto said we put an offer to him, but he really had no interest in coming to Adelaide or leaving Melbourne if he wasn't forced to.
that was supposedly when he was out of contract, not when he was being shopped.
Now to the extent we "made an offer" or if we even actually did and it's not just revisionist history I have no idea.
i think we probably did put an offer, but whether it was taken seriously is another. No suggestion that Martin met with us or indicated any interest though
what I absolutely believe is that there is an element within the club that thinks getting close or making an offer counts
