Bit harsh on Jordy Butts there, going at 87.2% disposal efficiency in 2022 and only averaging one clanger a game.

He averages with his Kicks but his selection is a problem, that will get better in time one would hope,
He also crosses the ball a lot which does improve his efficiency. and can be slow in moving the ball on.

I must admit I'm surprised just how poor Brown has been this year. Always rated him pretty highly.

Brown's been a very good player for many years but it looks like he has fallen off a cliff now.
I'm wondering if those achillies injuries have taken a toll

I think Smith is half way there already.

This is what I still can't believe we do considering how often weve been burnt by this.

Yes a player at 28 may look like they are playing better then ever, but it can change in a second as you hit that age.

Compare Newchurch's game to 69 gamer in Murphy yesterday's sanfl game and you know why the club is where it is at.
They just value the wrong attributes

Clearly the decision in playing the kids up wouldn’t sit with Godden and player development sits with a number of people coordinating together.

does he do any other kicks than long bombs to nowhere these days. It’s always been an issue but even when he is clear on the run now he bombs long to no one.

You know it always puzzles me how people have their favourites and dislikes and are blinded to anything else,
Like Frampton or hate him,
In a team that's screaming for decent Kicking and delivery, Frampton is one of the best they have on the list.
Yes he needs to work on his one-on-one, but anyone who constantly watches the SANFL would have seen improvements in that area.

When he gets the ball in hand he is one of the best at delivering the ball forward, in the current AFL team that alone is a need.
At this time we have Butts great in one on ones, but his delivery is not the best and Murray average in one-on-one but delivery not so good.

He’s played about 4 games as a KPD at AFL level… and because he didnt instantly defend like Daniel Talia at the peak of his career the knives quickly came out..

All regardless of how well he did defend in the game against the Doggies and regardless of the fact that in the Carlton game he played on Curnow who has made KPD’s that have played that position all their lives look just as bad as he did to Frampton this year..

Frampton wasnt the issue in that Carlton game.. Carlton getting over 75 inside 50’s for the match (a club record for them) was the problem.. that was on our midfield led by keays and laird.. but they are untouchables to some around here..

I was not aware Godden was senior coach or a selector. You want to sack the SANFL coach because why?

I didnt get to see the game but if any one says that Crouch should come back in they just need to watch the passage of play at 1:12, Crouch has the ball, he has time, and most importantly he has newchurch open in the forward 50 with a padock in front of him. Newchurch's opponent is front of him and all crouch has to do is kick it over the top of the defender which will allow newchurch to run into space. but no bloody all australian Mat crouch handballs it to a player who has less time to dispose of it than he does. In the bin with prejudice i say.
