If Franklin gets good delivery it's hard to see any of Port Adelaide's key defenders stopping him and he may kick a bag. There's a very good chance by the half way point of the season that Franklin will move into 10th spot on the AFL all-time goal kickers leader-board.

Absolutely rubbish rule. If a third man contests it give a free, if it falls in the lap of someone play on. Simple.

Example of how silly the third man up rule can be. Free against because the ball dropped short and he grabbed it instead of letting it hit the ground first. Didnt go up or impact the rucks at all.
