Hinkley gone imo.

Simply run out of tickets and Port desperately need a change of direction.

Pies have been good (not great by their standards) but I do reckon the big story out of today will be the Hinkley era at Alberton coming to an end.

Baffling that a team can kick 6 goals to 2 then give up 9 to 1.

Or now 2.

But despite giving up so many goals they are still in it.

Really great defensive effort from Nick Diacos to put pressure on Powell Pepper.
Maybe with a tiny amount, Powell pepper might have missed that goal.
But hey, it's not like he's apart of the back 6

Free kicks 18 13 Collingwood way

Very hard done by
Noise of affirmation has been huge since half time. Crowd booing all the time for minimal contact and the Umps are paying everything now.

Port are cooked.

Not sure there's a side that overpossesses the footy more than Port. They've got players with burst and feel, but flick it around way too much.

I’ve called it for years.

Hinkleys gameplan is to push numbers out of the f50 and d50 into between the arcs so we have numbers around contests and numbers through the corridor making it hard for teams to move the ball against us.

It works to a certain point, but it means we have little space around contests and have to move the ball inside a phone box. Which means more pressure and every touch invited more pressure as players collapse into the contest. When the games free flowing we look great. Numbers everywhere, but teams figured it out years ago.

Force stoppages
win clearances,
play possession footy when we’re set up.
Move the ball quickly out of stoppages (when we’re not set up)

Hang in there, Hinkley... until we get a coach.
