s**t game, shitter umpiring

Combining Eleni's absolutely ball tearing incompetence with the 'don't remonstrate' rule is something a CIA interrogator would dream up to mentally break detainees at guantanomo bay.
Brisbane were very well looked after

Just to put into perspective how ridiculous this game was.

Jones - 28 games
Naish - 16 games
Edwards - 16 games
Foley - 13 games
West - 9 games
Winder - 1 game
Jamieson - 1 game
Mountford - 1 game
Florenca - 0 games

With a first game coach. You had a guy who has never rucked before at any level trying to deliver service to a rover who had to ask his boss for a day off so he could travel to brisbane for the game.

On top of that, what is killing west coast at the moment is the horrible lack of continuity in the sides it is fielding- west coast have 2 players who have played every game this year, the next least is Carlton (7) and no other team in the competition has more than 10.

In the long term covid is probably a pretty good thing for west coast because its turned what would otherwise be a fairly middle of the road season into a guaranteed top 5 draft pick year, but its just an absurd state of affairs for teams in contender mode..anyone who cops west coast at the moment is guaranteed 4 pts and insane percentage.

That's because WC are the team that gives up before the opening bounce when things aren't going their way. The less experienced players tend to more competitive than the veterans based on the past year and a bit of football.
