Huge credit to West Coast for how they played in that first half in particular.

Saw a lot of their game last week and that would have to be one of the biggest form turnarounds from one week to the next in VFL/AFL history.

That first half was like watching most West Coast teams at home over the years.

Big response from the eagles today. Played tough and shocked a lot of people today. Healthy eagles squad today wins every day of the week. Could say the same with a lot of the other closer games they’ve had this year. Can’t wait to see Harley out there next season

Eagles will get some more players back. Rounds 18 vs Richmond and round 20 vs North Melbourne in WA are winnable

Still maintain our best 22 isn’t a one win a season wooden spooner. Much needed rebuild and probably a blessing in disguise that we hit the floor like this rather than peter out to a 14th placed finish

That’ll happen when we’re playing with a team full of kids, most of whom aren’t ready for WAFL let alone the top level. We’re 18th with a percentage in the 40s and will still win another flag before sides like the Saints
