He'll just eat all the Pies and they'll win by default.Pretty hard to kick a snag with a deflated ball.....

It’s not about the number of free kicks. It’s about when they’re paid and the situations they’re paid in.?
Adelaide average 21.9 frees for per game.
Collingwood 19.1

But don't let facts get in the way of your rant.
Mate, if you want to sound more like Trump you need to use ALL CAPS!!!Got banned last time for having a massive go at rankine. Feeling a bit more justified now.
Pies should win and win big. Crows not a great top of the table team and Collingwood travel well.
Rankine has done a lot of damage to the club in such an important time. Doubt it will have helped them much.
Just like they gifted the Crows the game a couple of weeks, back by ignoring blatant throws which resulted in goals?
Cool story bro.

I was replying to a posters "just hope the ups don't gift the Pies to many freebies again!"It’s not about the number of free kicks. It’s about when they’re paid and the situations they’re paid in.
Over the past few years, we’ve had so many free kicks go against us at critical moments. Bringing up averages is just plain lazy. Get up early, watch the games, do the work.
i agree it is quite sad how bad the umpiring has been for all teams. they have been too much of a talking point for what feels like forever. and i have no idea how they will fix this.I was replying to a posters "just hope the ups don't gift the Pies to many freebies again!"
That post was about quantity so I replied about quanity.
IMO Umpires shouldn't be talked about at all.
They are people, people make mistakes but there are only four of them on the field where as there are 2 x 18 players making mistakes so the players mistakes are a larger quantum than the umps.
Absolutely perfect conditions for a cracking, and spicy game of footy.Beautiful day over here! Not too cold, suns out and no wind.
You know it's bad when one of the main concerns for all supporters going into a final is "I wonder how the umpires will impact this game".i agree it is quite sad how bad the umpiring has been for all teams. they have been too much of a talking point for what feels like forever. and i have no idea how they will fix this.

Feel like I am going mad with the focus on a couple of throws that happens every game. This narrative that Adelaide got the rub is not entirely true.
Pies had the early rub to pull a sizable lead just before qtr time.
Once the Umps squared up Adelaide stormed back.
Had it been square from the first bounce Adelaide would have blown them away.
I expect a similar scenario tonight but Adelaide will widen the margin.

I'm pleased that you guys actually acknowledged that. As we did in the second half. You know it's bad when one of the main concerns for all supporters going into a final is "I wonder how the umpires will impact this game".
I couldn't care less if they put the whistle away or if they pay too many frees, just as long as it's consistent both ways.
As much as the throws and some frees in the game against us 3 weeks ago infuriated me, you can read our game day thread where we all acknowledged we got the rub of the green in the first quarter and a lot of us said that the umps will likely have to swing this back. That shouldn't have to be a thought imo.
Anyway, hoping for a good contest with minimal controversy. Good luck Crows![]()
If the umpires give Mason Cox a fair go this game and pay the holding and arm chopping free kicks it should be a comfortable 22 point win for the pies.
No good adelaide having Riley Thilthorpe in the forward line if the midfield gets massacred.
Even if they were consistent for the entirety of the match (Morgan Freeman: They weren't consistent), both teams are still uncertain as to whether they are being hypercritical of transgressions or letting them go until halfway through the match. It's an absurd way to adjudicate a sport. You know it's bad when one of the main concerns for all supporters going into a final is "I wonder how the umpires will impact this game".

How so? they rarely get pumped, the travel well. always been strong in that area. its going to be another gut-wrenching close gameJesus Collingwood are going to get annihilated aren't they
Not really. Is it fair to say the only people that want the pies to win tonight are pies fans and Power fans?
I'm sure the crows are quaking in their boots at the prospect of facing your cast of cocoon midfield + Ned Long aka pensioners and a butcherNo good adelaide having Riley Thilthorpe in the forward line if the midfield gets massacred.
