The pitch is a smaller canvas and 22 players is alot less than 36.

WW should be commended on the graphics when dealing with 36 players on the screen,the umpires,crowds.

Graphically it would be harder to render 36 players but I’ve never criticised the graphics.

Worse when you get 5-10 minutes of preamble before they finally get into gameplay.

Player movements are changing all the time in AFL,a forward could go back,a ruckman could go to ff,happens very quickly.

Go on then how about you back up your point for once instead of just throwing out insults when someone disagrees with you.

Set formations, players shift left and right and back and forth minimal distances, player with the ball has one maybe 2 players move towards and with him. You press a button to have one guy make a run ahead of you.
20 moving players
Fouls called for 2 things, missing the ball and too much pressure. Much less for the ball to do as it's round. It goes straight safe for curl but has a predictable bounce.

Aussie rules, starting positions but generally 20 of the 26 players are moving around near the ball at once all with individual programming. All 20 don't go for the ball but all 20 can't run away either. Also needs forwards making leads and moving ahead of the play not just one or two guys making runs.
36 players on the field.
Multiple free kicks where the same situation has different scenarios. Bounce/holding the ball
Unpredictable bounce, need to program random bounce mechanics as well as straight ones.
Different style of kicks, handballs, marks, spoils, drops etc.

I can't even be bothered posting more, it's so blatantly obvious I've already wasted a minute typing this.

Sounds like it will be up on digital stores this week. If you order from JB today and it gets shipped tomorrow, what's the earliest it will get delivered, Tuesday or Wednesday? I think I read it will be out on PSN on the 9th and I would assume Xbox store around the same time? So much of a muchness imo.

You'd probably save yourself about $20 ordering a physical copy if that matters

I can't play online anymore, as soon as you pick up you just mash triangle and then spoil pick it up mash triangle again.

It's unplayable and needs a patch, they need to make it so triangle doesn't just magically boot the ball 50m forward.
It also needs to be adjusted so the opposition can't lunge 15m to tackle your player who is out!

Ninety-nine percent of my time in Evo1 was spent in career mode playing as my created character. Third person camera, pretty close over the shoulder. I enjoyed it and thought it was a reasonable approximation of actually playing a game. My short, fat arsed player would roam the corridor, picking up possessions as he went, along with the odd goal or twenty each match.

Has anyone tried playing a game like this? Thoughts?

Whats the go with playing online, wouldn't all your sliders which you've customised to make the game more playable be reset to the default for online play?

Sheesh that would suck. Imagine adjusting everything so it's more playable and realistic, only to play some numptie kid online who can tackle from 15m away.

Who bought through JBs website? How long did delivery take? On the website for me it’s currently saying that untracked delivery would arrive by May 5th, and tracked express delivery would April 22nd. Surely it wouldnt take that long?

Spoke to my local EB games today. 2 stores locally. First one said they were expecting 'very limited stock' to arrive this week, but didnt know exactly when. Recommended that I purchase online. The second store said they were 'expecting a shipment tomorrow'. Hope there's some shelves getting stocked for you lads tomorrow!

Just my opinion it's pretty shit, like the camera angles are awful you cant really grasp whats going on at all, the A.I taking over and using dribble kicks at goal when the ball would hit the deck near the goals is really annoying, it's a tackle fest and the graphic are awful too. In my honest...

100% this. Played a game this afternoon and the lag was horrendous

Seemed ok for first 3 quarters but turned to shit in the 4th. A shame cos it was less than a goal in it at 3QT

Will wait for a fix before playing more online games. May start my career soon instead
