Hey mate, there is a lad running around at training from Maroochy at Sandgate, he has moved to Brisbane or something, his name is Wass I think? Know much about him?

Wass is a club legend, embrace him with both hands. He has played at maroochydore since he was under 8s, and there isn't a more loved man at maroochydore. Played in the reserves the last couple of years.

Maroochydore finally have some positive news coming out of a preseason. Senior coach plus 2 senior assistants, reserves coach (courtesy of Caloundra) and third division coach and assistant all onboard and in full preseason/planning.

40 at Tuesday night training/social touch last night, 35 last week. Thursday have been a write off due to weather.

Having the coaches sorted early has given the opportunity to go hunting for players. Couple of good recruit signed for 2012 last night. Jed Turner (Redland Bombers Ruckman), Leighton Cooper (ex WAFL, played a handful of games last year before moving back to WA for work) and Sean Fletcher all signed on.

Hopefully 2012 will see continued development and improvement in a young side, and the reserves running out with more than 14 for away games.

Good to see a local boy playing locally S36... instead of driving 3hr return to play NEAFL footy (or hope to). Never understood why guys from here drive so damn far to play when they pass 3-4 NEAFL clubs on the way.

Can anyone confirm that Grange has got shir from Aspley? Bloody great pickup if true, and with rumors of other Aspley and Siders going across(if anyone has names it would be appreciated!), the gorillas might take a few by surprise! Not making any rash predictions in November of course!!!!!. Noosaboy any luck securing the boys from vic? was mentioned on your website.

i think the magpies have picked up corrie (lives near the club) and looks like roscinski and moore will return + maybe one more that will be very very handy....
