Surely not trolling over a training match

jog on
You have to forgive geelol supporters for taking it too seriously. Their team played Hawkins, Duncan, menzel, blicavs and menengola in the final who are all top 10 players for them, as well as stewart news and thurlow who all are regulars. Clearly this training run is something to be taken seriously by all Geelong folk.

Btw Geelong that team lost to sanfl battlers.

I havent even heard of the players we are fielding today. lol @ clubs putting out older best 22 players

Well it's going to be a crap concept if teams put in the sort of pissweak effort the Bulldogs have put into it.

The last game between Brisbane and Richmond shows it can produce decent games if both teams put in the effort and are trying to win.
How’s the umpiring been today?

a "zooper" from 60 to win the game against richmond in the dying seconds. Doesn't get better then that.(unless it happened in real football that is)
It's a glorified training drill. Although Robinson probably celebrates goals at training too, the ball going where it's supposed to is quite an achievement for him

GC can be the big improvers this season if they got their s**t together and didn’t have to play home games away from their proper home, some serious young talent.

Why should we put in some AFL crap money making concept, the only football that counts is the proper season. Maybe questions should be raised about the lack of interest in the game in Sydney, even soccer and rugby preseason games draw more people than the 10 people that turned up in Sydney.

A coach who knows about the modern game would help too.

Much better than regular AFL games but they don't have to make as many decisions as it's mostly uncontested footy.

Might be one of the reasons why the Bulldogs were so poor, the umpires couldn't help them out like they usually do.

I'm not saying that teams should be playing their best players but most teams have played at least a few experienced players, the Bulldogs just picked all kids which is why you got pumped in both games.

Strange comment given that the AFL has supported the Swans throughout its short existence with under the table funding's and protection for its high name players when they get caught out by police
