why is Aish worth 2 second rounders in the 20's plus something but Freeman was only just worth a future second rounder???

Because Aish came 4th in the rising star in his debut year whilst Freeman has never set foot on the park in two years?

We no longer have our 2 first rounders the next two years. I feel like we'd be better off using the picks to assist areas of need. Aish is not a need, he's a luxury. Midfield in general is not a need right now, unless we can pickup someone with elite speed and footskills. I feel like we are going after the cherry to put on top of the cake rather than looking at sorting the cake out which is far from finished at this point.

I disagree. Have you seen our kicking into the forward line lately? Those kicks usually come from midfielders and we currently don't have enough that have good kicking skills.

I'm with you. I don't think it's a mere co-incidence that the player who appeared on the scene to help break the Pies/Lions deadlock is also managed by Pickering and lacking opportunity at his current club.
