FB: Smith - Talia - McKenzie
HB: Malceski - Taylor - Burgoyne
CE: Beams - Rockliff - Heppell
HF: Gray - Riewoldt - Dangerfield
FF: Breust - Franklin - Roughead
RU: Sandilands - Pendelbury - Kennedy
IN: Lewis - Ablett - Selwood - Parker

Burgoyne is the one that will stand out but he's been mammoth for Hawthorn down back this year.
Good team

Better then Mackenzie and a certain to make the squad, if not for injury he would be a certain to make the team.
Everybody is entitled to an opinion but yours is wrong and looks like that of somebody who rarely watches Richmond play.
I've watched quite a bit of Richmond this year and he's not even in the same ballpark as Mackenzie.

FB: B.Smith Mackenzie N.Smith
HB: Heppell Talia Malceski
C: Selwood Rockliff Pendlebury
HF: Harvey Franklin Gray
FF: Roughead Hawkins Bruest
R: Jacobs Kennedy Fyfe

B: Ablett Priddis Lewis Parker

Rest of my 40 man squad in no particular order:
Backs: Hooker, Rance, Richards, Simpson, Hanley
Mids: Sloane, Gibbs, Beams, Sidebottom, S.Johnson, Ward, Boak
R: Sandilands
Forwards: Betts, Ballantyne, Schulz, N.Riewoldt, Martin

Don't like having Heppell on a HB flank (yes I know he doesn't play there) but wouldn't be surprised to see them but a token midfielder there as aside from Malceski and B.Smith I don't think any HB flank player had quite a good enough season. My next best were Simpson and Hanley but they were too inconsistent for mine.

A few that I was really 50/50 on where picking 2 of Roughead/Schulz/Hawkins and Breust over Ballantyne.

They don't like Riewoldt, was robbed last year. I'd be happy with that AA team though.

Hmm.. Just read that Betts has kicked the most goals of his career this year, 51. And again this year is no. 1 in the AFL for score assists too. Surely that has to give him a serious shot at AA?

Faces stiff competition from Petrenko, Ronnie Burns and Porpylzia though.

This is my personal team, not what I think the selectors will choose. The hardest choice was the forward line/bench, just couldn't fit Sandilands, Hawkins and Ballantyne in among others. I have no doubt that Selwood will be included in the team and on the field, but I've got quite a few mids who didn't make my team ahead of him.
Strong team with good balance.
Close to the team that i'd choose to play a game of footy, based on 2014 form.
Doesnt mean its the likely AA side, but looks really strong on paper doesnt it.
