Goldstein a lock for north atm.
Swallow been impressive the last 3 weeks. A few more solid games and he has to be in the mix for the squad.

Not a lock but in the 40 or so that usually get chosen. Mumford is the ruck right now one would assume, or possibly Sandilands. Hasn't been a great year for rucks yet.

Haven't seen a whole lot of Goldstein this year but his stat sheet is impressive. Some Cox-like numbers thus far.

Goldy leads him in nearly every stat and played on better ruckmen. Not sure how you place mummy in front of him.

I think Bob Murphy is another shot at a surprise selection. He's winding back the clock and looking terrific coming out of the backline.

And to think I wanted him to play up forward more this year.

Not too old, just other KPD's have been extremely good. Currently toughest competition there for years.

The level of opposition means nothing? Luke has been terrific against some of the best forwards in the game. He may not get the stats the others do but he has not been beaten yet, can you say the same about the others?

Hurley and McPharlin are the two ATM.

Callan Ward has gotta go close for a Guernsey this year if he keeps up this form.
Too many mids sharing the load weekly at Spotless, if GWS gets a finals berth they could give him a sympathy bench spot like what Boak got in 2013 though.

Jeremy McGovern is holding that shambles of a team together down back. Definitely gets into the 40 man squad if he keeps it up.
I think the fact he has only played 17 games and is now the CEO of the backline (what there is left of it) is also a fact that favours him...

He's had a very good month, is in my 22 so far.

He'd have to be very good over the second half of the season to be picked by the actual selectors unfortunately.

B: Johnson - McDonald - Spurr
HB: Smith - Hooker - Boyd
C: Hill - Kennedy - Hannebery
HF: Shiel - Franklin - Armitage
F: Stringer - Kennedy - Breust
R: Goldstein - Fyfe - Sloane

Int: Lewis - Heppell - Pendlebury - Sandilands

Backline extremely hard to pick. But I'd go:

B: R.Murphy (WB), M.Hurley (Esse), T.McDonald (Melb)
HB: L.Hodge (Haw)-C, L.McPharlin (Frem), J.Pittard (PA)

Form-wise Gibson makes it, but he's missed a quarter of the season...

Solid side but I don't think Breust would be in the side at this stage. Hasn't been that great. I'd even say Puopolo has been better than him at Hawthorn, despite going off injured the other night..

Hooker and Hurley the only Bombers. Heppell gets heaps of the footy but wouldn't be as damaging with disposal as at least 20 other midfielders. I'd love to see Nathan Jones start getting some AA honours.

Wish Port played some soft teams in the first month so our players could pad their stats like some of the guys you selected...

Lucky for you then the All Australian team isn't picked in round 4 and Port will get their chance against the 'soft' teams beforehand.

Easily, Mumford has been more influential in GWS being 3-1. I expect Goldstein to overtake him, never said otherwise. Mumford is in my side right now though.
