Not on TK, but the draft - this kid ISAIAH
BUTTERS - looks the goods. Is he tied to Freo at all? I seem to remember hearing something along these lines. I am currently watching the colts GF, and he is special.

So Geelong camp demanding 3 first rounders.

Dylan82 saying otherwise.

I need someone to hold me.

Can't blame the guy. He was tired, texts were coming in fast. It's tough to keep up.

I hope your correct.

But if a deal isn't done with an hour to go, what's to stop Geelong trading him to Freo?

He doesn't want to go to Fremantle.Has ignored an invitation to meet with and be impressed and persuaded by Longmuir and Fremantle.
Geelong have no real leverage. If there is no deal he could get drafted by Fremantle for pick 7 so thats all Fremantle should logically offer or not offer and something a bit better than the points value of pick 6 is what the trade will realistically end up being.imo
Geelong know if they dont take that then they wont get anything for him .They will huff and crap on and rant and shit but who cares really nothing to see or worry about etc.

Darling went Vegan about 2 seasons ago. Has since won a premiership and made all-australian, so good on him.

No, he removed gluten, refined carbs and sugars:

Massive difference to vegan. :$

Nah, I call bullshit. Plenty of stories saying he changed to a paleo diet, can't find anything that says he's vegan.
"Darling and Courtney have a particularly low-carbohydrate diet full of organic food "

You know how I know he's not a vegan? Because if he was he'd be shouting it from the rooftops and there'd be 100 interviews with him online where he mentions he's a vegan.

A mutual respect for the Eagles (always has, but amplified by your supporters and the way they treated my team on our sad return to footy post Walsh) and the fact that I wont see a flag for 4 years at least.

Youre a Non-Vic Club that has an annoying little insecure baby brother, like the Crows, we share many similarities.

I genuinely hope you bend the Cats over, even if you dont, you get another chance in 2020 to knock them out of the finals with Kelly in your side.
Right back at you, never had a problem with the crows, and hopefully your window opens as ours closes so we dont get into each others way. 😎

PS still beaming at how you rolled over for us in the last round 2017 to let us play finals, we have that amazing after the siren extra time win to thank you for.

I think if we are giving up 3 picks (including if we need to bundle to get into the top 10) then we are well within our rights to ask for a pick back in the trade (2nd round).

I saw a report saying Geelong want 2 x top 10 or if not then 1 x top 10 and 2 x 10-20. At that price lets go talk to Melbourne. Seriously they would consider 14, 24, 33 and 2019r1 for pick 3. We then offer Geelong pick 3 for TK and 17.

Essentially ends up a 2019 1st and 2 x 2nd round for TK (plus a 3 spot downgrade in the 1st round this year)

As Vozzo said, there is a point where the price is too high.

Absolutely there is a point where the price is too high. Cats fans seem to think we'll be willing to give up our first two this year (or even first 3) plus first next year. Think we'll do it at any cost. If we can get two top 10 picks somehow (god knows how), we should keep the picks, unless we get a reasonable pick back with Kelly (top 20).
Reckon Demons would even go for that swap? I can't see it.

He is tied to them through their NGA. Other than a 4 goal game against Peel in the GF, nothing to write home about during the season.

It seems like Geelong's plan is to just drag this out till the end of trade week. Be as belligerent and aggressive as possible as publicly as possible. Make all kinds of noises about their demands and how a trade is unlikely to WCE. Try and get Kelly to crack and agree to meet with Freo out of fear that he won't get back to Perth if he doesn't agree to go there. if Kelly does show weakness and crack then force him there. If he doesn't crack by the last day then just accept whatever the best offer by us has been come the last hour of the trade week.

And when I see the sign that points one way
The lot we used to pass by every day
Just walk away Renee
You won't see me follow you back home

Fairly loose definition of "athlete" there.
My uneducated guess would be that the physical demands for F1 drivers would be a lot more arduous than most team sports competitors.

It's a fat person's "sport" like billiards or darts or horse racing.

Come at me.

Huge actually, a lot so more in testing and as much by the test drivers. 40-50 hours a week in the seat plus everything else. Also the huge burden of Diet and Keeping weight low.

I assume we will be speaking to swans. They may be interested in splitting 5 to help them do the daniher deal.

Swans 5 + 26
Eagles 14 and future first + 33

Offer Geelong pick 5, if they don't accept, take Kelly in draft at 5.

We have 24 + 26 + 64 in the draft

Swans have two first rounders to use in daniher deal and have more currency for papley trade

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, I only saw footage of him in that Colts GF, and certainly is skillful.
Hopefully a couple of our NGA's are just as talented - Daly being one that springs to mind.
