I’ll get it started this week.

Gallant losses are really starting to get old. Proud of the effort and the heart, but it’s a real kick in the gut to walk away with nothing.

I’m not gonna break it right down, but feeling really deflated despite the effort. Poor execution again undoubtedly let us down at times, rotations probably didn’t help, but the thing that bothered me most (and I know sometimes it’s unavoidable) was just how many times we kicked to their loose man in our forward 50.

I can support the small forward line with the one tall (Moore), if they bring the heat like they did today.

List management probably cost us this one. As soon as Moore went down we were really up against it. We needed to adjust and lower our eyes going forward but we didn’t, and we paid the price.

Still, a great performance against the best side in the comp, but a missed opportunity nevertheless.

Shame we didn't have another target up forward who could provide a contest. We were strong today, gallant even. But we should have won.

Good signs, great effort, shit disposal at times. We are on the way, down two rotations from half time hurts an afl team these days. We had our top 3-4 forwards not even on the park today, any other team would struggle the same. sucks to lose but this is a two year process. If we have our full team on park in 2-3 weeks and deliver the same I want answers but if we turn it around i’m happy.

Better game from pendles today was nice.

Great Effort but No Forward Line and Poor Ball Use Hurt us big Time.

My Thoughts from Game:

• Crocker will never be a AFL Player
• Grundy really Stood Up in the Game and Easily was BOG
• Treloar is in Shocking Form. Either Drop Him or Rest Him IF Injured
• Aish was really Good Today. More Damaging with his Disposals and Tackled Strongly
• Injuries might Kill this Season quite Quickly
• Howe was Amazing but Probably should of gone Forward when Moore did his Hammy
• WHE is Damaging but need to get lot more then 11 Touches
• Stephenson Tries Hard but Can't do what he wants as not Strong Enough yet
• Love Murray Taking the Game On
• JT was Good
• Can't Play Cox and Grundy in Same Team as when Grundy Rucks alone he Dominates but when Sharing with Cox he can Struggle
• Stevic the Scump is a Cheat

Another thing. GWS kicked about 5 goals today due to sheer talent. We lost about 5 goals ourselves due to a complete lack of talent.

We play much better with just the 1 tall fwd i reckon. But when that tall went off injured that was the reason why we lost. We just needed someone to create a contest in that last quarter but they just kept marking the ball.

Moore doesn't get injured and we win that game i reckon.

Endeavour was good, but effort often wasted by poor skills and structures. We are abysmal in so many of the basics of football.

Our skills are woeful. Do we even have skills coaching?

Losing Broomhead and Moore finished us off.

Aish, Scharenberg were positives

Treloar had a horrible first half but worked back into it.

Pendles was better as was Adams

Varcoe still a worry.

Liking what Ive seen of Stephenson and Murray so far.

Grundy is so much better when he gets to ruck alone. We basically have to admit we cant play 2 rucks and rotate if we are going to put our eggs in the Grundy basket.

I love Howe so so much. My girlfriend should be worried.

Honourable loss that summed up everything that is wrong with this club at the moment. Injuries, skill deficiencies, lack of a coherent structure or plan, substituting grunt for anything likely to lead to success, enough to not be embarassed against the good. Will probably capitulate against Carlton.
