Couldn't believe my ears when I heard Wallsy say tonight, "Ahh, John Harvey is a good umpire." About a minute later that very same umpire missed an obvious holding the ball call Well done Robert....

I agree - I reckon Harvey would have to be one of the worst umps going around!

I remember about a year ago he used to always end up doing essendon games for some reason, he drove me nuts!!

I nearly fell off the couch when I heard Walls say that. It just confirms what a poor commentator he is. John Harvey is without doubt the worst umpire going around, he has absolutely no feel for the game.

Also Jnr, i think you had better work on your research skills, John Harvey didn't umpire any of our finals games last year. If he did, there is no way that we would have won the flag. We would have been doomed!

Sorry to defend Harvey *you have no idea how sorry* but the boy HOWLETT is undoubtly the single greatest abomination to desecrate the game since the retirement of Ian Clayton! I know its a reach to compare anyone to that gormless waste that was Clayton, but trust me, Howlett, say it and HOWL IT, hes truly evil in white uniform.

John Harvey is an embarrassment to the umpiring fraternity (although Scotty Mclaren would give him a run for his money). Seems to me he thinks HE is the main attraction out on the field, not the players. Joffa Jnr., you've got no idea when you say he was the reason we won the flag last year. John Harvey has crucified us numerous times over the years,most notably against you lot.
