Anyone else catch the bronx geers that Anthony got as he took that mark? Pretty poor by the supporters but did he deserve it? Will he be dropped? Game winner only 3 matches ago, villian the next?

Opinions on the man please... We know he gives his all and his passion for the club is undeniable so what is going on?

He did nothing all day and we were losing

I dont think he can complain that the supporters were venting.

Cloke got them too, if didak, medhurst or davis before his last goal took a mark and slowed down they would have got them too

Cloke actually got a bronxing in the 1st quarter, which I thought had to be a record.

As far as deserving it..meh, they were both poor, so it was inevitable really. Often I think it's just a reflex reaction by supporters rather than a genuine attempt to humiliate or whatever.

Fwiw, I think Jack and Medders both like the same sort of areas, which could take a little while to figure out now that Medders has become a focal point again.

Yeah that's the Good Thing about JA - He is such a Straight Kick then he could only have 3 Shots and Goal and Kick 2-3 Goals

Welcome to Tarrants last 2 years at the club, it will only get worse unless he turns his form around. The last 2 years for Tarrant looked like he was going through hell.

The blood rule was unfortunate. I had a real feel about him then, he looked confident with the footy. He took the glove off (why it's taken so long I don't know) and if he had of been able to slot that through I feel he would've been away, as would the whole footy side.

It wasn't to be.

I felt the same way. He kicked one just before that and he started to play better. If he kicked that goal I reckon we would have got some momentum and won by about 4 goals.

Oh well, we still won, so it doesn't matter.

Of course it's poor 'supporting,' but thankfully it's only a minority of people that behave in this manner. Many of these people may jump on and off bandwagon's and may be inclined to rip up memberships. It annoys players of course, and why would a supporter want to annoy one of their own players? I just don't understand it because players know when they have not performed well. Hopefully most of this behaviour comes from the opposition.

The Bronx cheer should be kept in the Bronx at Yankee Stadium where it belongs.

Was very ordinary in that game, save for that one kick.

I agree, I've never done it. When they're down is when they need our support the most.

Its a shame that we have to smash and slam a players confidence in order for it to go back up.

On another matter, I disagree with playing Jack up the ground in a Cloke like role. If he is the best kick for goal in our side, why not put him where is he is most useful? Deep in the forward line. Put him the goal square and leave him there.

I think the best thing for Jack right now, would be to go back to the VFL and snag a few cheapies. Just get used to putting that ball through the sticks again no matter what level it's at.

Get some confidence into Jack, and bring in Dawes and actually see if he has a future.

I think you might be reading too much into it. It might be just as much the opposition getting stuck in as it is our own fans.

LOL at Wrestlemania, although it is true... It frustrates the hell out of me that he always looks for body contact rather than positioning himself at the ball. He is most dangerous when he leads directly at the ball, which in the last two weeks, I don't recall that ever happening....

you nailed it in the first sentence!!

when he doesnt have the footy he doesn't chase!!! or he puts in a half hearted effort.. and gives up after 15 meters.. its crapp!!!

watch him against the saints.. i'll be keeping a close eye on this. we really need him to work hard off the ball especially with the like of goddard fisher gram gilbert running out of defence!
