Ok bit slow , but i was allocated Pebbles as my player to report on this year.

Before i start i will say I dont really and never have rated Rocca that much. After 7 odd years of hearing about "unlimited" his potential i sort of lost all faith in him after the 2004 season after he missed the 2003 Grand Final.

He had the whole year to repay the club and had a average season, last year i wont count as he was injured.

Now i have got that off my chest i was very excited today, not just with the 8 goals but the way he kept working and presenting.Anthony's biggest problem has been his lack of endurance but he never looked that buggered today .

It is safe to say that our season rides more with Rocca than any other player on our list.He is still probably our most inconsistant player and im sure in 2 weeks i will be making a few negative posts about his workrate, but until then great game pebbles!!!!:thumbsu:

The only negative is, he played on a kid. Other then that, he was exceptional. He worked real hard, and his ground work was excellent.

Watch out, Hay! :p

You stole my role! But mark my words, Rocca will hit the big 1-0 againest someonw that would've conceeded 10 goals to Rocca this round.

Jonathan Hay, your career is going to be over

Stupid coaching by Clarkson.
First off bringing in no options for our talls.
Then refusing to play Croad back or Roughhead back for any real periods of time.
Croad is an AA CHB, he was ok forward but they could of afforded to go short forward, compared to going short back and leaving a lamb in Dawson to the slaughter.

Expecting 8 more. All they have to do is put it up to Rocca 1 out, simple as that...high or low he will kick a goal ;)

Hay will have his work (wait, what work, he hasn't played since 2001 :p) cut out next week.

I agree, Croad spent the majority of the game up forward doing ******** all. If they paid rocca teh respect he deserves by putting croad on him, it would have been a whole different story.

I don;t thinkk it would have made that much a difference, Rocca played a fantastic game. Maybe a few less, but yeah I can;t understand why they didn;t play Croad on him, that would of have been a great contest to watch. Fantastic effort by the big unit, he deserves all the praise he is getting at the moment, and lets hope he can continue it.

Remember last year he kicked 4 in the first 40 minutes of the game against the Roos before he did his achilles last year :thumbsu:

If we go long and direct and not let them get back we will be very hard to beat with Rocca winning most of the 1 on 1's. Rocca saved Collingwood today.

No, not exactly. Rocca was in hot form, and the way Collingwood were delivering the ball inside forward territory, I don't think anyone could have stopped Pebs last night, not anyone.
