The AFL has just released a statement saying that tickets for respecting members will be open to purchase at 9:00am this Friday.

Now this is what I need clarified:

Full AFL and Silver members can purchase their tickets at the earliest on Saturday at 9:00am.

I'm a Silver AFL member, but am counted as a Collingwood supporter. When can I get tickets?

The AFL wishes to advise tickets to the ANZAC Day game between Collingwood and Essendon at the MCG will be available to purchase for respective club members of Collingwood and Essendon from 9am Friday March 31.

The match will be the AFL’s first at the MCG for the season following the redevelopment work after the conclusion to the Commonwealth Games earlier this month. The venue’s capacity is expected to be 98,000.

The following arrangements will apply for the sale of tickets for the Anzac Day game at the MCG:

Tickets will be available to club members of both Collingwood and Essendon from 9.00am Friday 31st March.

AFL Full and Silver members from 9.00am on Saturday 1st April.


General Public from 9.00am on Monday 3rd April.

Tickets can be purchased from all Ticketmaster outlets, on line from afl.com.au or telephone Ticketmaster on 1300 136 122.

I'm in the same boat too, i have been told 71,000 tickets are already gone.

I'm hoping to get tickets when they are available to the Gen. Public.

Is there a restriction on the number of tickets per transaction? There's a group of around 15 of us wanting to go and I hate it when they can't seat everyone together.
