Pretty sure I saw Fasolo there in a grey moonboot near the entrance when the players first came out and then disappeared back inside. Didn't see Wells, Elliott, Shaz, Kirby, Broomhead, or Howe. People suggested Howe will train Thursday.

For those who didn't go I don't think you missed much. Supporters were there from before 9 but the first players didn't show up until after 10. They finally were all out there around 10:20. It finished up around 11:30. It was cold, a few A4 poster give-aways, and not as much atmosphere as I thought there would be. Maybe Thursday will be better?

The training was mostly easy drills like circle work and handball/kick to each other. A few players doing centre clearances, some trying to avoid tackles and get their hands free, some kicking for goal. Really light training.

At the end the players went to different parts of the ground to sign stuff for 10 minutes before going in when the whistle went. Some players signed a couple more things then walked back waving and smiling at the crowd every now and then who were cheering. Moore heard the whistle, stopped signing immediately and ran past ignoring everyone cheering him which to me seemed a bit poor - a quick wave to some cheering kids isn't that hard?

Biggest cheers were for Steele. You can see why he always has a smile on his face, he loves every minute of it. Mason is also a crowd favourite for some reason :)

Saddest moment was watching Dunn jog around. Bloke would be hurting.

4 days till it all happens

This asshouse sounds interesting... no wonder they are leaving the track early.

Conveniently cropped the "hot piece of.." of the beginning.

Will there be a light Captains run on Friday morning?

Yeah I called in for a look today. I saw Dunn running laps. BTW many of the players didn't sign autographs and headed in before the whistle but Moore seemed to sign quite a lot. There were a few players like Jordy near me signing and Hoskin-Elliott was running a few laps at the end.

Yes I saw Fasolo too. He seemed a few degrees removed from the proceedings.

Adams is a man on a mission. No sh*t, he's like a dog on heat.

Was great to be among the faithful today. The atmosphere was fairly subdued, a little eerie. I was not at all disappointed as I'm an advocate of as little fanfare as possible before a GF. I guess it takes me back to the 1990 GF when I saw Essendon's rooms all decked out but ours had nothing of the sort. By the way, 1990 was the last time I went to a pre GF training session.
If it was good enough for Rocky to shut out the fanfare when training for his second fight with Clubber Lang, then it's good enough for us. :D

IMO it is a bit disappointing if Fasolo is not around the boys this week.

Does anyone know what the G O is?
He’s gone full Tigers supporter and has #eco

Disappointing really, he should be there with his mates this week.

I just find it strange considering he still has good mates there.

Hagla did say he saw him today which is good I guess.

Are the boys training again on Thursday? If so, is it open to the public?

Holden centre is a public facility so they're all open sessions unless they choose to train indoors.

You summed it up perfectly. I arrived at 9.30 and had to hang around in the cold till 10.20 am when the players came out. Very little atmosphere despite a big crowd and a light training session that revealed little about possible changes or strategies. Dunn got bigger cheers than any of the players when he ran past doing his laps. While players were signing autographs, Cox stayed on the ground doing goal kicking practice.

Went from there to Molly Meldrum's statue unveiling next to the Corner Hotel. Eddie had already done a speech there earlier and turned up again for the unveiling, obviously good mates with Molly. When he saw me in my scarf he gave me a thumbs up and a knowing look. He must have spent more time at that function than at training, if indeed he attended training at all. For all his faults, Eddie gives a lot of himself. He couldn't move a step without someone speaking to him or asking to have their photo taken with him, and he obliged every one of them. Personally, I was content with my silent interaction with him.

Doesn't surprise me that it's a light day for some given it's two days earlier than normal training. Despite the fact that it's open training today, it doesn't change the fact that Tuesday has usually been the light day all year.
That pic would make a lot of pie haters happy asshouse lol.

I guess the subdued atmosphere and the lack if fanfare is because the team is focused at the job at hand and concentrating on the enormity of it. Suits me fine, we can all celebrate when the job is done.

Eddie is an absolute ripper. He’s a bit of a toff and certainly makes his fair share of blunders, but as a Collingwood man you can’t fault him.

Ed was definitely at training. Gave a long time member 2x tickets to the big dance which obviously got airplay during the news.

He must have left early because he Mc'd Molly's statue unveiling which began at 11am. I guess there is a reason he is referred to as Eddie Everywhere. Would have taken him 5 minutes in his Lexus to get between venues. That same member also appeared to be at Molly's ceremony. Maybe he got a lift with Eddie.
