Dees, undermanned, missing three of their best players, take on the mighty Eagles at their home ground... how many did you end up losing there this season?

Ripper effort by the Dees. What a team!

PS: You're welcome ;)

So they’re a tall side but what specifically is his fault in your opinion? No change to game plan when kick/mark/intercept marking is compromised? Personnel too entrenched so can’t drop players to suit conditions?

I thought they just looked like they only thought they needed to turn up, got smacked in the mouth and couldn’t lift. Worrying but not the first good team it’s happened to.
Too much reliance on kick mark game plan which doesn't work in wet or humid conditions. Needs a game plan b that can be implemented in these conditions.

Very average side away from Perth discuss

Wouldn’t say that because that would cover all states.

Agree that our record in Qld of late hasn’t been great. But our recent record in SA and Vic apart from against Richmond and Geelong at GMHBA is still favourable.

It’s more that our game plan in the wet doesn’t cut it and with the conditions tonight we probably had a taller player to many in Brander and Ah Chee.

A fit Jarrod Cameron would’ve been very handy.

next week will give us a true indication. Then again a loss to the reigning prems if it happens won't answer much. Gonna be a cracking game this Thursday night.

The only team we've really got a hold of is Collingwood who were missing a lot of players. Beat Freo who are having a poor year, Geelong in a great clash, Carlton (average), Hawthorn (below average) and GWS who have been out of form. If you said we'd win those games at home in a normal season by an average margin of 4-5 goals no one would bat an eyelid. Started hub life horribly but beat Sydney and Adelaide just as convincingly in Qld as we have most teams in Perth.

Even the pies game we were 4 goals down.

Weve been winning but barely getting out of 3rd gear.

Good signs but frustrating too.

Hopefully we go mental in the next 2 months and win every game by 100.

For some unknown reason rarely in our history have we had a side that hits its straps and just totally belts average sides, we have always been a club that keeps other sides in it, makes no difference who our players are or our coach is But we have never been that rub their nose in it club.
I have no idea what it is but we continually year after year struggle to play many 4 quarter games.
And this is the reason why we are very vulnerable especially when we are put under pressure, we are sometimes a bit like a bully, love given it out but don’t like it coming back at us.
We are a seasoned group and there is no excuse what so ever for us to put in poor performances. I think we are as good as anyone and may even be the best side in the comp on paper, it is our character and our mental strength which will decide where we go this year.

8 wins in a row from 8 games at home with a half capacity crowd cheering them on , versing a team that can't leave a hotel room every week
Id say yes they are. Wins have mostly been on the back of 1 or 2 players having big games rather then an even spread.

They are definetly not travelling as well as there supporters think or the way gerard healy talks them up , is he married? His wife probably wishes he got as excited arpund her as he did commentating an eagles game .

First 2 were in qld, but don't let facts get in the way of an illformed opinion

You routinely belted teams in the 90s and won one of your grand finals by 80 points, unless you’re talking about more recent times.
