Improved performance from last week, could have had a couple, halved a lot of contests, but doubt it’ll be enough to hold his spot. Likely the only change will be McInnes for Johnson, unless of course Mitchell is deemed ready to return.

He was woeful, constantly outmarked, sometimes uncompetitive in the air, one shot at goal that he kicked out on the full. Embarrassing performance.

Wow we know he is awful when you think like this. He must of looked worse at the game then on TV.
I'd put in the category of worse than last week.

But two weeks of it back to back..

His kick for goal right in front that went nowhere was the end.

I can cop a scoreless performance, that'll happen as forward from time to time. It's the lack of forward pressure, second efforts, competitveness in the air etc. Frankly, I think he's lazy and this is probably as good as we're going to get from him. Looks good in the VFL when he doesn't have to work ss hard, but gets exposed at AFL level.

Not sure if it was improved. He might have touched it slightly more but he didn’t use it very well and 66% of his three disposals were off. Just didn’t bring the ball to ground.

Tried to show off last year against Fwankstoned and got pantsed for it. And I mean literally pantsed.

100% - much worse than last week. GWS defence is elite. This is on the MCG against Sydney.

Surely his brain who have told him - you are so lucky to be getting a game. At least look like you give a ****. You know, lay some tackles, crash a few packs, give some proper second and third efforts.

Wow- you painted such a pretty picture I almost began to believe my eyes deceived me all night and AJ had done a reasonable job. The couple of shots at goal came from a miskick that landed on his chest and a deliberate out of bounds and he happened to be closest to the ball.

Given he was gifted another chance to redeem himself, for whatever reason, his game was beyond poor.

Fly said in the nicest way as only Fly can, that Ash is dropped for next weeks game.

That's why he's such a disappointment - if it was lack of talent then c'est las vie , but it all seems about atttitude. He's been given a leg up that some serious players never get and looks like he's not bothered about repaying the faith or making the most of it for himself. Hard to fathom.

I can't find his presser.

I watched the live one on Ch7. Will be up soon on afl website I imagine.

I love that Fly corrects the likes of Rohan Connolly with some of his wording etc. Fly is 100% a smiling assassin.
