We are doing evidence stories. Not someone converted so must be true stories.
What evidence do you see for all your Astro travel cosmos theories etc

Pick a particular theory and we’ll go through the evidence.

Muslims not only believe in Jesus they also believe in the second coming of Jesus.
But they don't believe Jesus is God, which is central to Chrisitanity, aka Trinity. Without it there's no Chrisitianity, (atleast what most of these guys subscribe to). Jesus is a prophet in Islam isn't it?

No I'm not.

Of "God"?

My children. They were born "non-theist". And they remain "non-theist". They give little to no thought to "God" and his design or form and certainly do not use it as an explanation for things that are unknown to them. The concept of "God" has no bearing on their decision making process throughout life.

Belief in the existence of a divine reality (i.e theism) is taught. It's not the "default."

Gutsy move Roy. What if they marry a Baptist ?

But Muslims also believe Jesus was neither crucified nor died on the cross. They also reject the divinity of Jesus as God incarnate, or the literal Son of God.

Shows how great Christianity is though. The other major religion gives our guy a pretty good write up and we give them nothing .

Is this more evidence ? Who is this Jesus ?

That's why it's called plagiarism in the English language. Not the fault of Jesus or Paul, but the writers of the Gospels knew what they are copying. Read a bit more into OT and Jesus quoted lifted from Buddhism/Conficiousism. Where do you think Love thy neighbour (which you love to quote all the time) comes from? Hint: not an original saying in NT.

Christianity has no copyright on the universal consciousness, if Jesus was alive, he would be sad to see what his teachings had become, thanks to people like you. It's not my d,ck against yours.

God, the origin and end of all things, can be known with certainty by the natural light of human reason, through the things that he created. (Dei Filius 2)

How thoughtful of God to arrange matters so that, wherever you happen to be born (or whatever influences you have in your life, like friends/family), the local religion always turns out to be the true one. Jesus never appeared to a person who never heard of Christ.

Never use your brain BT.

You'd expect that as Islam is a derivative of Christianity as in turn Christinaity is a derivative of Judaism which in turn was heavily infliuenced by Hellenic culture and Zoroastrian belief systems. These in turn had their origins on older belief systems which didnt necessarily worship one god.

Is this more evidence ?

Of what?

Who is this Jesus ?

The Jesus of the Gospels appears to be largely a literary construct with stories weaved around either one minor historical figure or perhaps more than one historical figure, melded into one.

Lol are you supposed to be a Christian.
”A literary construct” for the most influential figure in history.

No I'm not a Christian.

Re-read what I said. Carefully this time.

Read, reread + reread, you’re entitled to that view, but it is that Jesus who has shaped Western
Civilization into what it was.

It is that Jesus figure that was one significant influence into what Western civilisation is.

There's quite a lot more to Western culture than Christianity.

That does not change the fact that the Jesus as protrayed in the Gospels and in the writings of Paul is largely a literary construct by his followers.
