Autopsy Autopsy vs Carlton

We’re still turning over the ball far too much. However, we’re recovering much better from these turnovers. That’s the biggest plus. It means we can focus more our cutting down on the turnovers, knowing our structure is holding up quite well. Big test next week.

Jy was huge. I was harsh on him last week but all love this week.
I’ve watched the highlight replay about 5x.
Jy was immense, credit to him, cops a lot from all of us
Duursma, Trembath, wardlaw, Stephen’s, darling, Parker all had huge moments
This soft draw to start season has been invaluable for us to build belief for not only the club but us supporters
The crowd in last quarter was insane, so good!!

Wasn’t at the game yesterday for my mental health, would’ve had a heart attack if there.. but one thing I did miss… imagine being a blues fan, your team blowing a 22 point lead with 14 mins left and then Harry Sheezel dobs a spectacular goal just for the Borat music to start playing 🤣🤣 you’d just not want to go to the footy again

And no goals conceded out the back

listen to the crowd in the 1st one
Genuinely don't know why but it makes me a bit emotional to hear that level of noise, combined with as much elation and emotion and release as I think it's possible to see in Sheezel.

Lol, Gerard walks out just before Jy's goal :eyes:
Obviously had Carlton to win on a multi, understandable reaction really. He went out the back to swear and punch a wall away from the camera lol

Bit nervous about Trembath, George and Duursma being OOC at the end of the year. 3 massive contributors today and critical pieces for the future. Any inside word on their contracts?
They will all be fine
Why would they rush to sign
Every week their value goes up, smart by them and their managers
I reckon by mid year they will all sign

I dont think we will be recovering that well from turnovers when we start playing the good teams, we need to clean things up big time.

Just on the last passage of play, its iconic but upon watching the replay PC could have taken his 30 seconds and ended the game, if he miskicks or Simpkin hits the post or something the opposition get it back with a chance to pinch it. It ended up great but scary.

So good. I’ll watch the full replay and the watch the last quarter again from the other channel’s replay then all the post game videos.
I’m watching that replay all weekend at every break I get. The crowd was insane. My wife’s family friend from Europe thought it was a GF!

Very shocked that ppl think we got favoured.

Was with a bluws fan and he was saying the bluws had paid off the umps.
Cripps throwing /dropping the ball at will - their first 6-7 goals coming from frees , most soft ones.
That tackle on cripps in front of their goal should have been HTB. The ball came out easily but if compared to some paid against North, it was there. Then soon after in front of goal at the other end a similar tackle by JD went unpunished. It’s downright annoying how players who seem to make desperate but unsuccessful efforts to dispose of the ball are penalised when the ones who simply let the ball go with no effort to dispose correctly and allow the tackle aren’t.

Said start of the yr we should be around 8 wins maybe some more. Number of teams are on the way down while we should be going upwards . The clock is starting to tick in our favour, finally . Still a work in progress but you can see the physical and now possibly the mental change in our players.
Go The Mighty Roos

I know why because we fight for everything we get . We all understand it too . We might not be bigger than some of the other clubs currently. But we have plenty of supporters. A team doesn’t continue for over 150 yrs without a lot of supporters.

I was lucky enough that we kicked to the end I was at in the last.

There were 100,000 people. You can’t convince me otherwise.
Knowing the AFL and their distorted crowd figures wouldn’t surprise if it was closer to 50000
