With enough practice you learn how far to lead the shot. Back in the day I used to play Quake 2 on dialup a lot, hitting a target when you have a 300 ping is very much the same as hitting a moving target from across the map in BF4. It was even more fun when you're trying to hit someone while strafe-jumping around a map at full speed. The way most people use snipers in BF4 is just annoying as shit, especially the guys who sit at the very back of the map doing nothing while everyone else is trying to dig the team out of a hole. I barely bother with sniper rifles and DMRs, I'd rather bolt around with a carbine/shotgun...... or at worst sit back a little with a LMG and clear an area, then push forward.
