Hughes and Silk 21 from 24 balls in the second half of the chase when you need 9-10 an over.

Wow. Just wow.

Yep. This partnership cost the game. 3 or 4 slow overs and asking rate gets beyond the ability of players to hit enough boundaries to bring it back. Really poor tactics. You can't hit the pause button in T20 cricket, you have to keep pushing.

Silk isn’t actually capable of it, that’s the problem. It’s like he’s a specialist fielder. Can’t remember him ever striking it at above 120ish. They’d basically lost the game as soon as he went in before Christian and Carlos.

Oh, and Hughes was simply terrible.

That’s about as poor a loss as you can get. Let the other side get 178 after being 2/4, then throw away a winning position.

Hughes has to open, he's not a middle order batsman. Silk can play as a specialist fielder and bat 8.

Be better once Moises is back

Hughes opening, Edwards out. Henriques to 4

lots of praise for Vince but the way he just threw away his wicket straight after getting a lifeline from David is what killed the sixers.
They batted better than I expected, I thought they would only get 150 against the canes bowling.

May as well keep Edwards in at 6, at least has the capability of hitting a boundary unlike Silk.

Silk has done it on occasions. The one that is underrated as a hitter is someone like Dwashius, probably gets nothing most times but he'll hit some boundaries

Both Ingram and Vince out in the powerplay. I thought pre tournament teams would just take it in like the 17th and 18th over to avoid that. Always going to go hard in the last couple regardless but if you hold it back to the 17th and 18th a wicket doesn't kill you at that stage as long as you have a power hitter in the shed which the Sixers did last night. Interesting to see how teams handle it moving forward.

That Silk fielding was insane, hes got to be the best there is in that area (in the BBL atleast).

If the rope wasn't there he would've pulled down another all time catch, hes taken a couple already.
Shame he batted with the urgancy of a nightwatchmen coming in with 2 overs to go on Day 3
