Distinct lack of promising young talent playing tonight given it's a dead rubber.

Need to replace some dead wood with up and comers if they want to improve.

Stars need to get rid of a lot of players , but who is out there that they could get in their squad?

They were having a discussion during/after the game whether the Stars should focus more on going local and giving them opportunities rather than pinching players from interstate.

For me there is a possibly a culture problem there. Stoinis' body language throughout this tournament reeks of someone that had been eyeing other things. eg he is off now to the SA20 T20 league. And to be honest, watching the SA20, I think Stoinis might struggle against some of the players there.

Yes I agree. Stoinis didn't seem right. Think a lot of work is needed on that squad. BBL needs a mega auction IPL style to make some teams competitive
