They still do dumb things though. I don't know why this was the game to bowl Merlo. And on a slow pitch where the 6ers spinners were hard to hit, I don't know why Webster is bowling his slow mediums.

Sixers really needed that sort of innings from Hughes. Curran can be handy with the bat but #6 is way too high. If they lost 3 or 4 wickets early in a game they would be stuffed.

Their 6,7,8, and 9 are better bats than the Scorchers equivalent.

I’ve thought that about them for years but it never happens. Basically the opposite to what happens with the Thunder. Even back before the BBL, NSW teams were obsessed with playing the extra bowler.

I reckon Strikers in Adelaide is difficult just because of Chris Lynn, Overton and Matt Short.

But Hobart will back themselves to pinch at least 1 of those doubles especially against them on their home deck.
