Leaning towards the Heat here. The Sixers like to chase so could be more likely they send in the Heat, and when batting first at the Gabba they're capable of big scores which I'm not sure I trust the Sixers batting lineup to chase down yet, they've had a disjointed season whereas Heat have put the runs on the board.

These games need to be rescheduled. They knew rain was likely coming tonight so either play it in Sydney or postpone it. This will be the 4th game lost with rain? Tomorrow is likely as well. Half the games will end up getting washed out the way it's going.

Which is even worse with a ridiculously shortened season.

Gades should be happy if they get a point tomorrow

It’s cricket weather happens it’s only BBL can’t just reschedule it’s not that easy

It should be this length. Makes each game important and you can’t play like dog nuts for half a tournament and flop into 4th playing good cricket last 4 games

Where's the common sense?.

You can if you know the weather in advance and it becomes an ongoing issue. There's no contingencies in place clearly. Games abandoned and everybody moves on. It's going to make a farce of the season if we get a few more don't deny it.

You do realise weather are forecasts right? They aren’t certain projections. It’s only a few games who really cares it’s one game on New years Day

the way people carry on in here about rescheduling games is ridiculous. Must be so easy for these people complaining to just suddenly get about 100 people (Players/umpires/support staff etc. etc.) onto planes on match day just because the rain is coming. Forecasts change, boohoo if you miss out on a night of cricket.

They said it would rain today a few days ago. Low and behold it's pouring. And for the next week it's the same. Find a window in the schedule to play it where it suits. This is supposed to be a professionally run competition not amateur hour.

Yeah because I was talking about rescheduling it on the day FMD. Clearly you can't do that but you can plan ahead knowing it's likely to rain and play it when there's no chance of rain.
