I remember seeing an NRL player score a try, then run and jump into a seat in the crowd and applaud the replay of his try on the big screen.

That was quite funny.

Jeff Farmer done that after kicking a goal in an exhibition match in London.

I was at that game at The Oval. Farmer's antics were the only highlight of a very low intensity and boring game of footy.

Dockers won if I remember rightly... I'd had a few Fosters.

Won tickets through TNT magazine.. got access to the Members at The Oval... pretty impressive stuff.

Back on topic though, I remember Alastair Lynch running around the boundary celebrating a goal against the Bombers around 2002 I think (possibly the No Rules game). He lost traction on the drainage grills and stacked it big time. :D

I also have faint memories of a Richmond player doing a quad while celebrating a goal... can't remember who.

remember seeing a cyclist raise his arms for a cyclists victory only metres from the line

another cyclist overpassed him while celebrating in those few seconds

Pretty sure that is on YouTube. :D

That was Anthony Mundine if I remember correctly (who else FFS  ?)

Anyone got the golfer who raised the putter as his ball was going in, but lost grip, resulting in the putter hitting the ball and knocking it out? Classic.

Not a goal celebration but I when I was at an Eagles game a while back they had one of those Beer Mascots dressed in a big foam tinny outfit goin' around the boundary.

He was walking at first and then started getting confident and picking up the pace while high-fiving everyone on the boundary. After a bit he went into a full on run and stubbed his toe and just face-planted. With no way to put the arms out the dude slid for about 2 metres on his face right in front of the members section. It was pure comedy gold!

Wayne Campbell...

celebrated a team goal a little too hard and did his achillies

That's who I was thinking of.

They went on to lose the game too I think.
