Best Golfer on Bigfooty

I've only played golf once. A Sunday mornng back in 1997.

I shot 159, and I cheated to get that.

HHAHAHA, yeh right.... Played in a few tournaments, nothing to special - by the sounds of things there are a few good golfers on here, and i still hold a bet with Dan (PP) for a round of golf one day. He's good, so he says....

Used to hit off 8-10, and developed a massive drive (which was gun-barrel straight too). Had to stop due to a back injury, and haven't had a hit for a couple of years. I wouldn't mind getting back into it, and had a few practice shots a while ago, and was hitting pretty lush.

Cost is an issue these days too - likewise, I think I'd be very much reduced back to hack status (which reduces the fun aspect, considering when I was last playing regularly, I was posting good scores).

Perhaps we could have a BF golf day sometime? Royal Park perhaps?

Interestingly enough I went to school with Aaron Baddeley.

14 years old. Played on a course once i plan to play again. I can drive 120 metres with a 5 or 4 iron at the driving range. I cant use the woods for nuts though. I hit the roof when im driving . I dont have lessons but I plan to get better.

Well just finished playing my first round for 2 months and did fairly average. Hit a 91 (par is 73) but won by 11 shots over my mate.

Wasnt a good golfing day. Far too windy so hitting into the wind was like hitting into a tornado. Thats how bad it was. Started off with a 9 and a 7 but progressively got back into the swing of things and only had 2-3 bad holes after that. Ended up with 2 9's a 7 and the rest were basically par or bogey. Im very very happy with 18+ for not having played for a few months.

Will be having a hit again tomorrow so hopefully ill improve on that.
