I am speculating here but could be fun to think about what our best round 1 lineup could be

Going to be interesting what they do with LMac.

George will play round 1.

Comben can ruck. But if they don't want to risk Comben, CCJ could play. But someone else needs to come out. George from all accounts is impressive, and have heard the club rates him very highly. He will be right to play.

I can't see LMac missing out R1. With every iteration I've done, the back pocket is his. We are unbelievably lacking in medium defenders who can defend. Better hope we work out a brilliant defensive system or this could hamstring us for years

Key points.

• I liked Bailey off half back, would like to see him back there to give us some run and and carry from back half with Zac
• Biggest holes are ruck and CHF. Will be interesting to see if Comben goes back, if he does then I am not sure who our starting CHF is.
• Forward line looks super dangerous, hopefully Paul and Bull can come in fit and steaming.
• Would love to see Dawson get a decent crack at playing a key defensive post, looks like he has the attributes to do so.
